Yu Nujiao thought of Mo Hua's eyes, black and profound as Yuan-Su. A faint chill ran through her heart, and the fine hairs on her jade-white skin trembled. Amid the tension and thrill, she could not help wrapping herself in a blanket and rolling around the jade couch a few more times.
Only after rolling around for a while did she calm down. She lay silently, pondering her thoughts and her scheme.
After an unknown amount of time, Yu Nujiao suddenly froze and sat up. At some point, a plump, beautiful woman in red had appeared beside the bed.

She glanced at Yu Nujiao, lovely as a flower yet clear as snow. Her expression was complicated, and somewhat angry as well. "Who allowed you to play around like this?"
"I wasn't playing," Yu Nujiao said.
Lady Rui glared at her slightly. "Still talking back?"
Yu Nujiao smiled and rose to her feet, wrapping her arms around Lady Rui's plump waist. She rubbed her delicate face against Lady Rui's soft, fair chest and said sweetly, "Lady Rui..."
Lady Rui was furious, but seeing the girl's charmingly coquettish appearance, she knew perfectly well that Yu Nujiao was putting on an act. Yet she simply could not stay angry. She merely said coldly, "Don't call me Lady Rui. You've grown up. Anyway, you don't listen to a single word I say anymore..."
"I listened!" Yu Nujiao said in a crisp voice.
Lady Rui nearly wanted to tug her ears. "If you listened to me, how did you still dare provoke Young Master Mo?"
"He's a baleful star, a monstrous fiend. You saw how he killed people at Dragon Pool back then, didn't you?
