For a moment, Mo Hua saw nothing but the Altar.
A moment later, he came back to himself. Looking at the immense Blood Pool, vast as a Sea of Blood, with neither raft nor path and no end in sight, he finally frowned.
"How do we get across?"

Mr. Wu said, "There is a Bone Boat. It can cross the Sea of Blood and reach the other shore."

Ever since they had entered the Inner Palace, drawn close to the Blood Pool, and neared the Altar, seemingly drawing closer to the "God Lord" as well, the fear on Mr. Wu's face had faded. In its place was a trace of composure and piety.
