The Imperial Heaven and Earth Diagram had an enormous origin.
During his travels, Mo Hua remembered his master had once told him much about the origins of the Imperial Heaven and Earth Diagram. Back then, his experience had been shallow, and he had not felt much. But now, as he pondered it carefully, the more he thought, the more frightened he became.
A Visualization Diagram reflected the Divine Thought of another person, or some other kind of existence.
In other words, what one could visualize within the diagram was another's "Dao," or perhaps the "Dao" of certain nonhuman beings.
Mo Hua had attained the Dao through Divine Sense. The more deeply he studied Divine Sense, the more he understood just how much unfathomable mystery lay within it.
Thus far, not a single Visualization Diagram he had seen was simple.
Much less the Sect-Suppressing Treasure passed down for ten thousand years by Earth Sect, one of Kun Province's greatest sects. No one knew what exactly might be sealed within it.
Even Earth Sect itself might not know.
It could be ancient Dao Rhyme, or it could be some even more terrifying unknown existence.
Mo Hua also remembered his master saying that although the Imperial Heaven and Earth Diagram was Earth Sect's treasure, the words "Imperial Heaven" violated a taboo of the Dao Court.
No matter how great Earth Sect was, it was only a sect of Kun Province. It could revere "Earth," but it could not call itself "Imperial Heaven."
Thus, the old monsters of the Dao Court had forcibly split the Imperial Heaven and Earth Diagram into the Imperial Heaven Diagram and the Earth Diagram.
The Imperial Heaven Diagram was enshrined in the Dao Court, while the Earth Diagram was hidden within Earth Sect.
