On Lone Mountain, the Gu Family's large-scale spirit machinery towered high.
Amid rumbling hums, enormous mechanical arms, like the limbs of giants, carved into the mountainside, excavating mine shafts and leveling the collapsed Lone Mountain once more. Following Mo Hua's plans, they reshaped it into a foundation for the array formation.
Mo Hua intended to rebuild a grand array formation atop Lone Mountain.
Naturally, this array formation had yet to reach the level of a grand array.
Even with Mo Hua's Divine Consciousness, he was still far from capable of constructing a Second-Grade Grand Array.
Furthermore, the vast manpower, material resources, lengthy span of time, and enormous consumption of Spirit Stones and Spirit Ink were all beyond what Mo Hua could afford. What Mo Hua was constructing was merely a large-scale compound array.
Yet this compound array was immense in scale, covering more than half of Lone Mountain. It contained diverse formations, complete Five Elements and Eight Trigrams, and needed to accommodate all kinds of Array Patterns. In a sense, it could be called the "prototype" of a grand array.
Mo Hua was using it to "practice his hand."
He could not yet construct a Second-Grade Grand Array, so he could only settle for the next best thing: piling up large-scale compound arrays to create a Pseudo Grand Array. Though it was a "Pseudo Grand Array," its sheer scale made it extraordinarily difficult.
It required an immensely profound foundation in array formations, incomparably broad array knowledge, and mastery over an enormous number of Second-Grade Arrays.
Beyond that, constructing a large-scale compound array required an Array Master to possess a grand vision—to coordinate, arrange, and control the array's major framework, overall Array Hub, core Array Eyes, and compatibility from a macroscopic perspective.
