Ch. 1354An Affair

Yan Zhu tried to make Dan Ling accept him as her master, using her family and his claimed aid to the Danque Tribe as leverage, then attacked her when she refused. A terrifying presence drove him away, and Mo Hua appeared to tell Dan Ling about Danzhu, only for Bai Zisheng to accuse Mo Hua of having an affair with her.

  • Yan Zhu offered Dan Ling his inheritance and protection, but she refused to abandon the Royal Court or accept him as her master.
  • Yan Zhu claimed he had saved Dan Ling's family and the Danque Tribe during the Famine Disaster, then threatened her with news of their uncertain fate.
  • Dan Ling refused to yield, so Yan Zhu attacked her and gradually gained the upper hand.
  • A terrifying presence interrupted Yan Zhu's divine technique, causing backlash and sending him fleeing from the Divine Maiden Hall.
  • Mo Hua revealed himself and told Dan Ling he knew Danzhu, prompting her to urgently ask about her brother.
  • Bai Zisheng emerged from the rafters, saw Dan Ling holding Mo Hua's shoulders, and angrily accused Mo Hua of having an affair with the Great Wilderness Demoness.

Ch. 1355Divine Official

Mo Hua convinced Dan Ling that he was Young Master Gongtu, then met the Red-Robed Divine Official, who recognized him as the Little Divine Lord and learned that Shentu Ao had died more than ten years earlier. As the Dao Court attacked the Royal Court, the Divine Official ordered Dan Ling to escort Mo Hua and Bai Zisheng to the Dragon Pool, while she stayed behind to face the end of the Royal Court.

  • Mo Hua claimed to be Young Master Gongtu and used the Gongtu token and Danzhu's letters to persuade Dan Ling of his identity.
  • Dan Ling agreed to hear Mo Hua's offer to help, but the Red-Robed Divine Official appeared and sent Dan Ling and Bai Zisheng from the hall.
  • The Red-Robed Divine Official recognized Mo Hua as the Little Divine Lord and explained that the Dragon Pool safeguarded the Great Wilderness's inheritance and Qi Destiny.
  • Mo Hua told the Divine Official that Shentu Ao had died more than ten years earlier, leaving her stunned.
  • As battle cries approached from the Dao Court's attack, the Divine Official ordered Dan Ling to take Mo Hua to the Dragon Pool and protect Zhou Quan.
  • Dan Ling led Mo Hua and Bai Zisheng toward the Imperial Court, while the Divine Official stayed behind and reflected that the nightmare was ending.

Ch. 1356Ghost Shadow

Mo Hua entered the sealed Imperial Court with Dan Ling and Bai Zisheng, fearing that Prince Ao’s return connected to his Martial Uncle and the Ghost Daoist. As they waited for an audience with Prince Ao in Golden Rhino Tower, Mo Hua came face-to-face with Young Master Tuoba and his childhood friend Da Hu.

  • Mo Hua resolved to enter the Imperial Court despite suspecting that seeing Prince Ao would bring him close to his Martial Uncle.
  • Dan Ling used her Divine Maiden Token to bring Mo Hua and Bai Zisheng into the Imperial Court disguised as shaman servants.
  • Dan Ling warned Mo Hua to avoid the shamans, especially Yan Zhu, and explained that the Divine Maiden Hall worshiped the God Lord of the Great Wilderness.
  • The guards refused Dan Ling’s request to see Prince Ao and sent her and her companions to wait at Golden Rhino Tower.
  • At Golden Rhino Tower, Mo Hua recognized Young Master Tuoba and then saw that the man standing humbly before him was Da Hu, his childhood companion.

Ch. 1357Da Hu

Mo Hua met his childhood friend Da Hu again at Golden Rhino Tower, where Da Hu served Young Master Tuoba and warned Mo Hua to leave the Great Wilderness. After Da Hu failed to kill him, Mo Hua offered to take him to the Dragon Pool to form his Golden Core, but Da Hu left without accepting.

  • At Golden Rhino Tower, Dan Ling refused Young Master Tuoba's demand to hand over Mo Hua, her servant.
  • Dan Ling warned Mo Hua to avoid provoking Young Master Tuoba while she sought a way for him to enter the Dragon Pool.
  • That night, Da Hu sent a Blood-Colored Dart toward Mo Hua, and Mo Hua followed him to a secluded courtyard.
  • Da Hu admitted he had never intended to kill Mo Hua and urged him to leave the Great Wilderness, warning that Young Master Tuoba was dangerous.
  • Mo Hua asked what had happened to Shuang Hu and San Hu, and Da Hu said they were no longer brothers.
  • Mo Hua offered to take Da Hu to the Dragon Pool and protect him, but Da Hu told him to save himself and departed.

Ch. 1358Battle of the Imperial Court

Mo Hua and Bai Zisheng learned that the Battle of the Imperial Court was fueling a growing Dao Sin, while Dan Ling revealed a route to Dragon Pool. As the three set out for the forbidden land, Young Master Tuoba blocked them and ordered his people to seize Mo Hua.

  • Mo Hua and Bai Zisheng discussed Da Hu’s transformation and decided to focus on Golden Core Formation until they understood his circumstances better.
  • The Dao Court army began its assault on the Imperial Court, and Mo Hua sensed the slaughter nourishing a dangerous Dao Sin.
  • Dan Ling brought Mo Hua and Bai Zisheng a secret map showing the route from Golden Rhino Tower to Dragon Pool, then agreed to guide them there.
  • Mo Hua, Bai Zisheng, and Dan Ling left Golden Rhino Tower but encountered Young Master Tuoba and his Great Wilderness Sect followers.
  • Young Master Tuoba ordered his people to capture Mo Hua; Dan Ling fought two Elders, Bai Zisheng fought Da Hu, and Mo Hua taunted Young Master Tuoba by saying his life was worth less than his dog’s.

Ch. 1359You're Not Dead

Mo Hua, Bai Zisheng, and Dan Ling fled Young Master Tuoba’s pursuit through the Imperial Court, only to be surrounded by Great Wilderness Sect forces and fire Shamans Yan Zhu and Qing Zhu. Yan Zhu recognized Mo Hua as the Divine Shaman he had betrayed and tried to kill him, but Mo Hua turned Qing Zhu against him as the Imperial Court fell and the final battle for the Dragon Pool began.

  • Mo Hua evaded Young Master Tuoba’s attacks and escaped with Bai Zisheng and Dan Ling, leading their pursuers in circles through the Imperial Court.
  • Yan Zhu and Qing Zhu ambushed the trio near the Four Symbols Palace, while Young Master Tuoba’s forces closed off their retreat.
  • Yan Zhu revealed that he recognized Mo Hua as the Divine Shaman he had betrayed and explained how he had predicted Mo Hua would head for the Dragon Pool.
  • Yan Zhu’s Ten-Pillar Fire-Melting Divine Array failed when Mo Hua destroyed its Totems with a glance.
  • Mo Hua promised to forgive Qing Zhu if she killed Yan Zhu, and Qing Zhu attacked Yan Zhu instead of helping him kill Mo Hua.
  • The Imperial Court’s defenses collapsed as the Dao Court’s army and other forces surged toward the Dragon Pool.

Ch. 1360Four Symbols Palace

As the Dao Court army overran the Great Wilderness Imperial Court, Mo Hua led Bai Zisheng and Dan Ling through the Four Symbols Palace and tried to keep them alive amid the slaughter. Yan Zhu cornered them, but the confrontation was interrupted by Elder Xuanyuan and his allies, revealing that the Great Wilderness Shamans and the Great Wilderness Sect had betrayed the Royal Court.

  • Young Master Tuoba ordered the Great Wilderness Sect to kill Mo Hua, but the arriving Dao Court army swept into the Imperial Court and forced Mo Hua, Dan Ling, and Bai Zisheng into the Four Symbols Palace.
  • The Dao Soldiers broke through the Fire-Melting Array by sacrificing wave after wave of their own, then fought the Four Symbols Royal Soldiers through the palace labyrinth.
  • Mo Hua concealed his companions and urged Dan Ling to preserve her life as the Royal Soldiers were gradually overwhelmed and slaughtered.
  • Yan Zhu tracked Dan Ling with a Vermilion Bird-shaped lamp and cornered Mo Hua, while Qing Zhu and Young Master Tuoba arrived but hesitated to attack.
  • Elder Xuanyuan arrived with aristocratic cultivators who were killing the surviving Royal Soldiers, and Yan Zhu revealed that Mo Hua was the Great Wilderness's Divine Shaman.

Ch. 1361Mo Hua by Name

Mo Hua revealed himself as Void Gate’s prodigy to escape the Dao Court elders’ attempt to kill him, while Yan Zhu remained convinced he was also the Divine Shaman. At the Four Symbols Palace, Mo Hua protected Dan Ling and gathered the sect prodigies and their elders around him, leaving Elder Xuanyuan facing a sudden show of strength.

  • Elder Xuanyuan ordered Mo Hua killed and Dan Ling taken, but Mo Hua stepped forward and challenged the Dao Province elders.
  • Mo Hua named himself and cited his reputation and victories over the Dao Province prodigies, making Elder Xuanyuan hesitate to act against him.
  • Yan Zhu insisted Mo Hua was the Divine Shaman, then recognized Mo Hua’s familiar bearing and concluded that he was both the Divine Shaman and Void Gate’s prodigy.
  • The Dao Court forces continued their purge through the Four Symbols Palace, killing surviving Royal Soldiers as Dan Ling obeyed Mo Hua and stayed silent.
  • At the central plaza, Elder Xuanyuan ordered Dan Ling seized, but Mo Hua declared that no one could touch her and challenged him.
  • Situ Jian joined Mo Hua, followed by the Situ Clan elders and the prodigies Mo Hua summoned, drawing their Dao-protecting elders behind them and leaving Elder Xuanyuan stunned.

Ch. 1362Calling the Wind and Summoning the Rain

Mo Hua rallied the Eight Great Provinces’ prodigies and elders against Elder Xuanyuan, insisting that they protect Dan Ling and seek Golden Core Formation in the Dragon Pool. After the factions split up to search the Four Symbols Palace for a way forward, Mo Hua waited with his companions, and the others returned when the palace’s ancient killing intent blocked their escape.

  • Elder Xuanyuan tried to intimidate the gathered elders, but Mo Hua challenged him and persuaded the Eight Great Provinces’ clans to stand with him.
  • Elder Xuanyuan accused Mo Hua of sheltering Dan Ling for personal reasons and threatened to report him, but Mo Hua exposed the Xuanyuan Family’s own ties to Great Wilderness figures and refused to hand her over.
  • Mo Hua declared that he would lead those who followed him into the Dragon Pool and warned opponents not to interfere, leaving the hall divided between Dao Province and the Eight Great Provinces.
  • After the elders went to search for a way deeper into the Imperial Court, Mo Hua told Situ Jian to bring Situ Fang and instructed his companions to stay close to him and Dan Ling.
  • Half an hour later, the Four Symbols Palace trembled and its sacred patterns stirred with ancient killing intent, forcing Elder Xuanyuan and the others to retreat into the main hall.
  • Mo Hua opened his eyes and told Elder Xuanyuan that he could not get out.

Ch. 1363Four Symbols Absolute Array

Mo Hua revealed that the Four Symbols Palace trapped the elders through a sacrificial array, then made them follow his instructions to trigger and withstand its defenses. As the elders worked through the labyrinth, Mo Hua used Heavenly Calculation to study the Four Symbols Array and pursue its lost Absolute Array Diagram.

  • Mo Hua demanded that the elders obey him, but Elder Xuanyuan and the other Dao Province elders rejected his authority and joined forces with the elders of the Eight Great Provinces to search the labyrinth.
  • The elders returned injured, and Mo Hua explained that the Four Symbols Royal Soldiers had sacrificed themselves to activate the maze and trap anyone coveting the Great Wilderness Royal Court.
  • Elder Xuanyuan agreed to follow Mo Hua’s directions within the palace, and Mo Hua assigned the elders positions and strict rules for responding to the Four Symbols patterns.
  • The Golden Core elders began following Mo Hua’s instructions to activate and break the array while the Foundation Establishment prodigies stayed in the main hall.
  • Mo Hua observed the array’s reactions with Divine Consciousness and used Heavenly Calculation to record its patterns and deduce the Four Symbols Absolute Array Diagram.

Ch. 1364Dragon Hall

Mo Hua finished deriving the Four Symbols Palace array and led the elders safely through its labyrinth, though he had to bluff his way past their doubts. The group reached the Great Wilderness Dragon Hall, where Mo Hua expected the real danger to begin with Shentu Ao.

  • Mo Hua recorded the Four Symbols array knowledge he could derive before exhausting his Divine Consciousness.
  • Mo Hua convinced the elders that the array had been broken and guided them along a safe path out of the labyrinth.
  • Elder Xuanyuan rallied the elders to attack the Great Wilderness Imperial Clan, while Mo Hua warned Bai Zisheng, Dan Ling, Situ Fang, Situ Jian, and the others to stay close.
  • Mo Hua and the elders climbed the silent stone stairs and arrived before the Great Wilderness Dragon Hall.

Ch. 1365Shentu Ao

Mo Hua and the others found Shentu Ao transformed into a monstrous being in the Great Wilderness Dragon Hall, where the elders attacked him and he revived by absorbing blood and flesh. As the battle continued, Mo Hua suspected his Martial Uncle was behind Shentu Ao’s unnatural powers and feared the group might not survive long enough to reach Dragon Bone Path and the Dragon Pool.

  • Elder Xuanyuan led the elders into the ruined Great Wilderness Dragon Hall and found Shentu Ao standing in a black Blood Pool.
  • The elders bombarded Shentu Ao, but the black blood and flesh restored his body, and its array patterns killed several charging elders.
  • Shentu Ao awoke, killed and devoured two Golden Core Sword Cultivators, then declared his intent to conquer the Great Wilderness and destroy the Dao Court.
  • Mo Hua led the younger cultivators out of the hall while the elders continued fighting Shentu Ao, and Dan Ling explained what she knew about Dragon Bone Path and the Dragon Pool restrictions.
  • Mo Hua recognized traces of his Martial Uncle in Shentu Ao’s voice and Four Symbols Ghostly Path Dragon Map, and feared Shentu Ao could slaughter everyone if he fought without restraint.

Ch. 1366A Bitter Battle

After Shentu Ao repeatedly repelled the Dao Court elders’ attempts to kill him, Mo Hua began deducing the Four Symbols Ghostly Path Dragon Map, fearing it connected to his martial uncle. As the exhausted elders regrouped, demonic phenomena erupted around the Dragon Hall and zombie hands attacked the gathered prodigies.

  • Shentu Ao forced Elder Xuanyuan and the other elders out of the Dragon Hall after killing and devouring many of them.
  • Elder Xuanyuan rallied the elders to destroy Shentu Ao, while he ordered the prodigies to wait for their chance to form Golden Cores in the Dragon Pool.
  • The elders launched two more heavily prepared assaults, but Shentu Ao recovered by drinking the Blood Pool’s black blood and killed more elders before they retreated.
  • Mo Hua began using Heavenly Calculation to deduce the Four Symbols Ghostly Path Dragon Map, despite fearing that it would lead him back to his martial uncle.
  • As Elder Xuanyuan’s group rested after another failed assault, silver-white zombie hands emerged and attacked Yuwen Hua while pink aura, falling skulls, and an eye-bearing Demon Sword appeared around them.

Ch. 1367Righteous and Demonic

The Demonic Path ambushed the Dao Court expedition, unleashing blood swords, poison corpses, beguiling powder, and ghosts while Mo Hua and the righteous cultivators fought to protect their prodigies. The ambushers revealed a formidable host led by the Demon Flood Dragon Mountain Master, and both sides prepared to fight over the Dragon Pool of the Great Wilderness.

  • Demonic shadows and blood-drop swords attacked the Dao Court party as zombies rose from the ground, and Mo Hua warned the prodigies about the poison and subdued their bewitched companions with Ao Zheng and Shi Tiangang.
  • Mo Hua destroyed the ghost children tormenting the crowd, prompting the Skull-Necklace Big Man to attack before a Longding Sect elder intercepted him.
  • Lady Rui marked Mo Hua with her Hehuan Stamen but found his mind unaffected, while the Demon Flood Dragon Mountain Master emerged and injured Mo Hua before Bai Zisheng and Dao Court elders intervened.
  • The Xuanyuan sword art struck at the Evil Eye Demon Sword, and a Sword Slave withdrew it, ending the attacks as the Demon Flood Dragon Mountain Master escaped the elders' encirclement.
  • The sinister mist lifted to reveal the Demonic Path elders and prodigies, who demanded the Dragon Pool of the Great Wilderness and declared that the righteous and demonic factions would fight for it.

Ch. 1368Orthodox and Demonic Forces Join to Slay

The orthodox and demonic cultivators joined forces to attack Shentu Ao after discovering the monster in the Dragon Hall could not be overcome alone, but their repeated assaults failed. Mo Hua realized the battles were feeding the evolving Ghostly Path Dragon Map and ended the chapter by openly mocking the Golden Core elders.

  • The orthodox and demonic Golden Core cultivators battled outside the Dragon Hall until Elder Xuanyuan and the Demon Flood Dragon Mountain Master halted the fight and tested the danger within.
  • A Ten Thousand Monster Mountain cultivator entered the Dragon Hall and was immediately killed, prompting Elder Xuanyuan to propose that both sides join forces to defeat Shentu Ao.
  • The orthodox and demonic elders agreed to cooperate, then launched repeated joint assaults on Shentu Ao, but disunity and mistakes caused each attack to fail.
  • Mo Hua deduced that slaughter and injury were helping the Ghostly Path Dragon Map evolve, making Shentu Ao increasingly dangerous and turning the campaign into a trap for everyone inside.
  • After the fifth joint assault failed, Mo Hua mocked the Golden Core elders for being unable to kill Shentu Ao.

Ch. 1369This Child Cannot Be Kept

Mo Hua led the righteous and devil path Golden Cores through repeated attempts to suppress Shentu Ao, eventually disabling the Ghostly Path Dragon Map and killing him. As the elders began to fear Mo Hua’s growing power, he slipped into the passage inside the revealed White Bone dragon head, ahead of everyone else.

  • Mo Hua insulted the devil path Golden Cores, then claimed he could kill Shentu Ao by breaking the Array Technique formed by the Evil Demon Dragon Pattern.
  • Demon Flood Dragon Mountain Master allowed Mo Hua to lead an encirclement, and Mo Hua devised tactics that exposed Shentu Ao’s weaknesses despite the first attempt failing.
  • Mo Hua scolded both sides for their poor coordination, and the Golden Cores gradually improved their tactics through repeated failed assaults that weakened Shentu Ao.
  • During the fifth encirclement, the Golden Cores exhausted Shentu Ao and exposed the Ghostly Path Dragon Map in his back, allowing Mo Hua to inscribe an array inside him and stop him.
  • The elders developed killing intent toward Mo Hua, but he vanished and entered the bone passage inside the White Bone dragon head behind the Blood Pool.

Ch. 1370Dragon Bone Path

Mo Hua entered the Dragon Bone Path, where Golden Core cultivators could not follow, so the righteous and demonic factions sent their prodigies after him while preparing to kill him when he emerged. As the factions’ heirs battled through the path toward the Dragon Pool, they encountered Mo Hua, and their fighting stopped.

  • Golden Core cultivators were repelled by the Dragon Bone Path’s imperial restriction, so the righteous and demonic elders ordered their Foundation Establishment prodigies to pursue Mo Hua and seek Golden Cores at the Dragon Pool.
  • Bai Zisheng entered the path, while Dan Ling stayed with Situ Fang and grieved over Shentu Ao; Elder Xuanyuan sent Yan Zhu and an elder to search for Qing Zhu.
  • The elders burned Shentu Ao’s corpse and waited outside the path, intending to kill Mo Hua when he returned.
  • Yan Zhu ambushed and killed the Xuanyuan Family elder, burned the body and bloodstains, then fled through the Four Symbols Labyrinth while lamenting his betrayal of Mo Hua.
  • The righteous and demonic prodigies fought as they raced through the Dragon Bone Path toward the Dragon Pool.
  • Mo Hua appeared ahead of the battling prodigies, and both sides immediately stopped to stare at him.

Ch. 1371Restriction

Mo Hua stopped the righteous and demonic prodigies from killing one another and led them through the Dragon Bone Path, where a powerful restriction suppressed their cultivation. The group reached the Dragon Pool entrance, and Mo Hua sensed the aura of a Golden Core within.

  • The prodigies attacked Mo Hua, but he evaded their attacks, and Bai Zisheng intervened, fighting off those who tried to kill him.
  • Mo Hua threatened the group with his killing intent and warned them not to interfere with his Golden Core formation, so they agreed to proceed together.
  • Young Master Tuoba rebuked Meng Bohu for entering the Dragon Bone Path and ordered him to follow, while Mo Hua resolved that he could only help Da Hu indirectly.
  • Mo Hua studied the Dragon Bone Path’s restriction and realized it suppressed cultivators’ power and might be part of a vast, unfinished array technique.
  • Mo Hua led the prodigies to the Dragon Pool entrance, where a Bone Stele bore its name and an ancient Golden Core aura drifted out.

Ch. 1372Bloodline

Mo Hua and the other prodigies entered a vision of the Great Wilderness Dragon Hall, where many revealed they carried traces of imperial blood and sought the Dragon Pool’s Qi Destiny. After the Dragon Emperor denounced Mo Hua’s common birth, Mo Hua killed him, breaking the bloodline barrier and opening the Dragon Pool gates.

  • Mo Hua touched the Dragon Pool gates and was transported with the other prodigies into the Great Wilderness Dragon Hall, where the Dragon Emperor confronted them.
  • Xuanyuan Jing and many righteous and Demonic Path prodigies claimed traces of Great Wilderness Imperial Clan blood, and Mo Hua realized their bloodlines had been cultivated as a means to claim the Great Wilderness’s Qi Destiny.
  • The Dragon Emperor condemned the prodigies without imperial blood and insulted Mo Hua’s common-born parents, so Mo Hua seized him and killed him and the assembled imperial nobles.
  • The Dragon Hall collapsed, and the prodigies returned to the Dragon Pool as Mo Hua opened its gates, revealing darkness lit by golden fire.

Ch. 1373Shentu Ye

Mo Hua entered the Great Wilderness Dragon Pool, discovered a sealed Coffin and an erased stone stele, then began preparing to form his Golden Core. During his breakthrough, he was drawn into a dreamlike Dragon Pool where he opened the Coffin, saw Shentu Ye, and deciphered the strange patterns on the stele before Shentu Ye appeared behind him.

  • Mo Hua and the other prodigies entered the Dragon Pool, where they saw the dissected Azure Dragon and its many chambers for Golden Core Formation.
  • Mo Hua found a sealed Coffin and a blank stone stele near one of the altars, but could not discover what had been erased or what sealed the Coffin.
  • Mo Hua, Situ Jian, and Bai Zisheng chose nearby chambers and prepared to form their Golden Cores.
  • Mo Hua began his breakthrough, but his supplies and spiritual energy vanished as he found himself in a hazy, empty version of the Dragon Pool.
  • Mo Hua opened the Coffin and recognized the young boy inside as Shentu Ye, then studied the patterns that had appeared on the stone stele.
  • Mo Hua understood the patterns as a continuous chain, and Shentu Ye appeared behind him and said he had expected Mo Hua to understand them.
