"Those damned human vermin!" A thunderous roar echoed repeatedly through a void. The King of Purgatory, Akentu, seemed to awaken from a nightmare. It suddenly opened its eyes, its crimson forehead covered in fine beads of blood-red sweat. "Ah!" Its entire body suddenly curled into a ball, letting out a shrill, agonized scream.
"I'll kill you all!"
After another furious roar, the void was engulfed in blood-red lightning. It was as if the entire world trembled beneath its rage. It took roughly five or six minutes before everything returned to calm.
Once the lightning dispersed, the demon lord's massive body was revealed again. The monster gasped heavily. When it raised its head once more, the blood-red pupils in its eyes had vanished, leaving only a void-like blackness.
Although the projections in Taoqike had inherited only part of its power, creating those few incarnations under the seal had still cost it countless years.
