After taking her through the Gate of Light, Yuta stopped and calmly surveyed the area. As far as the eye could see, there was only a snow-covered frozen wasteland shrouded in heavy mist. In the distance seemed to be a crisscrossing glacier, with ice ridges and icicles hanging beneath the fractured rocks. The wind howled, yet could not disperse the mist. It churned as though it were a living monster.

"It lies above the Gray Realm and the Shadow Realm, but is still part of the Lower Realms. The Mist Kingdom governs the law of cold. The snowflakes drifting through the sky here aren't real ice and snow, but projections of the Shallow Sea's water."
