After Shido finished speaking, Brando's right hand pressed against Harangya's slightly smooth, icy hilt. In silence, he drew the Sword of Earth from its tough leather scabbard once more. Its dark blade slid free, faintly radiating a heavy aura as weighty as mountains and rivers.
He raised his head and took in the entire underground world crisscrossing beneath the glacier. Around him, Lady Veronica, Mephisto, and the Little Female Dragon did the same.
The ice cavern was shrouded in mist. For a moment, the only sound was the ringing of weapons being drawn.
These Min'er People had clearly arrived here after the Twilight Age. The ancient people had all died here, and what had killed them was self-evident.
