Wei Wu's brain directly crashed. He rubbed his eyes, his pupils filled with horror and confusion.
A living, breathing person had suddenly vanished.
Then a blade of wild grass sprouted from the ground.

After a pause, he cautiously touched the grass again. This touch shocked him even more—the grass was warm, like a person, with body temperature.
He could even feel its rhythm.
That was a heartbeat only a living creature could have.
"Damn it, this is spooky!" Wei Wu cursed aloud, but immediately clapped a hand over his mouth afterward.
