Arc 65The Ancient Remains

Qin He purified an aberrant corpse, gained new insights into gravity and reincarnation, and restored the Ancient Ape Corpse enough to uncover fragments of the Immortal Court’s past. After the Forbidden Void’s backlash exposed the corpse to the Divine Court, he searched the Endless Ruins and tried to restore other ancient remains, leaving their secrets unresolved.

  • Qin He helped Qin Zhenggang suppress and purify Cangyang’s Aberrant Corpse, then borrowed the cracked Replica Rebirth Seal and gained the Gravity Technique and Reincarnation Dao Resonance.
  • Qin He restored the Ancient Ape Corpse with its missing remains, awakened its lingering thought, and learned that the Forbidden Void had once been the Immortal Court, destroyed by the Dao.
  • The Ancient Ape’s roar triggered a violent backlash that injured Qin He, shook the Returning Ruins, and brought the Left Army and a High God to investigate the burning corpse.
  • Qin He watched the Ancient Ape’s Shadow Play, learned it had been a South Heaven Gate general bound into eternal slumber during the Great Sundering, and received a Shattered Mirror fragment from the South Heaven Gate.
  • As demonic chaos weakened the Returning Ruins’ defenses, Qin He kept out of sight and entered the Endless Ruins to search for ancient corpses.
  • Qin He repaired a dark-armored corpse with an ancient armor fragment but found its remnant thought had vanished, so he marked it and continued deeper into the ruins.
  • Qin He replaced the Ancient Wizard’s withered heart-vein region with Jianmu and purified the corpse, but it did not awaken before he moved on.

Arc 66Escape into the Interlayer

Qin He escaped the Divine Court’s scrutiny, strengthened his Lotus Flame, and joined Burning Heaven Lord in a desperate attempt to enter the Returning Ruins Interlayer. They made it through the rift badly wounded, where Qin He concealed them as a hidden current carried them toward danger.

  • Qin He soothed the lingering thoughts of two ancient enemies, removed the weapons binding their corpses, and continued searching the Endless Ruins for remains.
  • After a demonic tide disrupted the camp, Qin He attempted to reach the interlayer rift, but a High God exposed and defeated his demonic-serpent incarnation.
  • Qin He ignited the Flame Fire marks he had placed on sixteen ancient corpses, then left the Endless Ruins disguised as a messenger.
  • Burning Heaven Lord asked Qin He to bring him into the interlayer, and Qin He agreed after Burning Heaven Lord promised to hold off one High God for ten breaths.
  • Qin He fused the Nine-Li Cold Flame with his other flames, forming a stable Two-Layer Fire Lotus Tower that could freeze and dissolve its targets.
  • As a Tier-One Demon Tide struck the camp, Qin He merged his three bodies and joined Burning Heaven Lord in forcing a path toward the rift.
  • Qin He resisted the High God of the Divine War Department with his domains, flames, and talismans, then carried himself and Burning Heaven Lord into the interlayer.
  • Spatial currents swept the gravely wounded Qin He and Burning Heaven Lord toward a dangerous presence, so Qin He used pills to recover and hid them both with the Still Ruins Jade Pendant.
