Wu first directly confronted Lu Chenzhou after the defeat of Wu Tianchou. Calling Lu a suitable divine son, he attempted to recruit him; Lu rejected the offer without hesitation. 294

By the time Lu entered Unity of Heaven and Man, Wu had become the central organizer of the evil gods' campaign against Martial Dao. He used the Eye of Truth and its Truth Sorcerer path to infiltrate human society, offering a superficially easier route to transcendence while intending to hollow out Great Xia's martial foundation. 464 472

Wu repeatedly sought Lu's death through cults, demon forces, assassins, curses, trials, and spiritual traps. As Lu's strength rose beyond his calculations, Wu shifted from seeking immediate elimination to proposing an alliance against a shared enemy and the Great Universe's restraints. Lu refused outright. 505 761

At the end of the Great Universe, Wu and Lu battled at its core for seven years while worlds perished around them. Wu revealed that a Divine Court god had caused the universe's calamity and disclosed a possible means of saving it: finding a newborn universe or a living Heart of a Universe to receive the Great Universe's will. 772

Wu's divine power eventually ran dry. He was killed by Lu Chenzhou, but Lu destroyed Wu's remaining divine sparks rather than refine them, unwilling to risk any posthumous contingency or possession attempt. 772
