History

Xu Yuan's Widow

Feng Lin was Xu Yuan's Cultivation Partner. Because Xu Yuan and Chen Wang had called each other brothers, she insisted that Chen Wang address her as “Sister-in-law.” Shortly after Xu Yuan's death, she offered to become Chen Wang's wife and proposed exploring cultivator graves together for treasure. 5

Her abrupt change from a previously fiery, reserved woman into someone openly seductive caused Chen Wang to suspect possession or another hidden influence. 9 22 32 Her demeanor later proved connected to secretly learning the Joyful Union Sect's cultivation techniques rather than ghostly possession. 263

Flower Immortal's Disciple

During the Market's turmoil, Feng Lin was revealed as Flower Immortal's disciple. She had concealed the Blood Soul Pearl and was drawn into conflict with her fellow disciples over the treasure. 343 381

The Green-Clad Girl exposed Feng Lin's special yin constitution and Flower Immortal's intention to eventually harvest her yin qi.
