Because a powerful vampire had allegedly been discovered in the wilderness, the Adventurer's Guild gathered the four Mithril Adventurer teams currently in the city to discuss countermeasures.
As one of the four great Mithril teams, the "Beijia" mercenary group could not even be bothered to attend the meeting. They simply replied, "Not going," then holed up in the inn to recover from their injuries.
Before the others could reach any conclusion, the entire sky suddenly darkened, as if the world were about to end.
Red, empty fissures appeared in the pitch-black sky alongside flashes of lightning.
The sun, moon, and stars were all wiped from the heavens, leaving behind nothing but endless chaos and cracks.
Everyone in Yharnam fell into panic. They screamed and prayed as a hazy, sacred radiance vaguely enveloped Yharnam, giving the people a faint sense of security.
Yet the unceasing tremors of the earth still filled their hearts with fear.
"The disturbance is coming from... where that monster vampire is!"
Opening the inn window and looking toward the center of the disturbance, the Reincarnators solemnly came to their conclusion.
Even with their strength and experience, they had no idea what was happening. They only knew that it was an enormous problem and extremely dangerous.
But they could still roughly determine the direction from which it had originated.
"I wonder what happened over there. How could there be such a huge commotion? Did 'Darkness' show up and use that high-level magic crystal of theirs?"
"I don't know, but that seems like the only possibility. We have no idea what kind of magic they have. It looks like the end of the world!"
However, just as they began discussing it, the heavenly phenomenon vanished as quickly as it had appeared.
