"I know you, Chief Warrior of Asgard. Your deeds are celebrated across the stars."
The Supreme Intelligence wore Odin's face, looking kind and benevolent.
"Oh? Then do you know why I came here?"
Xu Yue wore the same friendly smile.
"I know Ronan violated the agreement and attacked Xandar, but Xandar is not one of the Nine Realms protected by Asgard. It should have nothing to do with you."
Still wearing Odin's face, the Supreme Intelligence said this casually.
The Kree's only encounter with this Chief Warrior of Asgard had been that one incident.
As the Supreme Intelligence, he had actually detected Accuser Ronan's plan in advance. But it had merely been a private operation. Success would naturally have been good, while failure could easily be pinned on Ronan.
It would not cost him a thing.
Asgard was powerful and highly renowned among the stars. However, one point needed to be considered: after Odin had adopted the mold of a benevolent ruler, Asgard remained within the Nine Realms and rarely ventured beyond them.
Thus, the various powers were not overly wary of Asgard.
"Huh? That matter? It was somewhat related to Accuser Ronan, but it wasn't what you're talking about. I came because of another matter—Midgard."
Xu Yue shrugged, leaving the Supreme Intelligence briefly stunned.
Midgard was Middle-earth, Earth. The Supreme Intelligence still remembered that planet.
First, the Kree had experimented on humans in Midgard, creating the Inhumans. However, due to concerns that Asgard might notice, along with various other reasons, the results of those experiments had been shelved for the time being.
Another matter was that several decades ago, a Kree scientist had fled to that remote planet and developed an exceptionally advanced engine, causing an Earthling to mutate.
That mutated woman had left a deep impression on him.
