Outside the hearing, a massive crowd had gathered, constantly recounting their misfortunes before the cameras of major media outlets and accusing Superman of his crimes.
It was as though his very existence was an original sin.
Just as the crowd grew agitated and the other attendees had already entered the hearing,
Superman slowly descended from the sky.
His appearance left everyone nearby stunned. In truth, this hearing had merely been intended as a forum for airing grievances. No one had expected Superman to actually show up.
Once he did, cameras of every kind frantically turned toward him.
"Unbelievable. You actually have the nerve to come here!"

For a time, the cries shaking the plaza reached the heavens, but Superman ignored the noise entirely. After landing, he headed straight inside the hearing.
Guards soon appeared and put handcuffs on him.
Quite a few Reincarnators hidden among the crowd, however, were not particularly surprised.
