A drop of scarlet blood dripped from the demon's claw onto Klein's forehead. As he looked at the figure ahead, wreathed in frost and flames as she delivered the demon its final blow, an inexplicable tremor seemed to stir within his heart.
"Demon, get the hell back to the abyss!"
Blood stained Tracy's lips, her voice chilling.
Her decisive, heroic bearing made her seem like a female knight.
Then, she forcibly tore the demon's arm off along the wound created by the Sunflame Charm, pulled it from her own body, and viciously drove it into the creature through its eye.
Already half-dead from the Sunflame Charm, the demon had relied entirely on its final conviction to kill Klein. After Tracy roasted it some more and followed up with that final strike,
even a demon's recovery ability and resilience, far beyond those of ordinary people, were utterly useless.
It died on the spot.
Tracy, too, staggered against the nearby wall from excessive blood loss through her abdominal wound.
As she tore off half of one sleeve from the lower part of her clothes, exposing a lovely expanse of skin,
she wrapped it around her wound. Blood lingered at the corner of her mouth, and cold sweat covered her forehead as she weakly mocked the still limp Klein.
"Heh, a Magus who comes unprepared only knows how to yell and charge...
"You idiot..."
Klein, drained of all strength, could only laboriously raise a hand and touch Tracy's thigh.
Then Tracy felt her entire body lighten as the injury in her abdomen was transferred away.
This made Tracy pause in surprise. Then she saw Klein grin before immediately passing out.
