Background

Zhou Mingrui awakens in Tingen City in the body of Klein Moretti, who had committed suicide after becoming entangled in a Beyonder incident connected to the Antigonus Notebook. Welch and another companion who helped decipher the notebook also die by suicide, while Klein survives under unusual circumstances. 3127 3130 3139

Klein joins the Tingen Night Watchers as a clerical employee. His training exposes him to the dangers of deities, Sealed Artifacts, and Beyonder pathways; it also gives him access to Emperor Roselle's diaries.
