Complex Situation

A breeze swept through the tall grass before the Grand Cathedral in the Soul Wilderness, and two figures instantly took shape in the wind.

One was Yu Sheng, and the other was Baili Qing.

"...No matter how many times I come here, I still can't help marveling at what an incredible place this is." Baili Qing raised her head and looked at the towering Grand Cathedral before them, as well as the enormous Crystal Tree above it. "Especially since this place seems to undergo earth-shaking changes every so often—is that just my imagination? This tree is at least twice as large as when I last saw it."

"It's not your imagination. It's grown again," Yu Sheng said casually. "And I estimate it'll grow once more soon."

Baili Qing turned her head. "Hmm? Why?"

Yu Sheng waved his hand. "Didn't I go and plunder Eden Gate? For this Crystal Tree, which has already fused with the Boundary Bridge, that thing is highly nutritious."

Baili Qing: "...Right. I forgot about that."

As they spoke, Luna appeared at the cathedral entrance with several Brass Knights.

The moment Baili Qing saw the blonde girl in a nun's habit, she subconsciously touched her nose before greeting her.

"Let's go. Take us to meet her." Yu Sheng nodded at Luna.

The Grand Cathedral's doors opened. Under Luna's guidance, Yu Sheng and Baili Qing crossed the cathedral's front hall and headed deep into the enormous, almost astonishingly vast building.

Yu Sheng saw many figures.

Between the benches in the Preaching Hall, in the shadows of the garden corridors, and along the paths leading to the Giant Tree Courtyard, newly arrived Artificial Saintesses could be seen everywhere. Some rested alone, while others gathered in groups of three or five, seemingly discussing something in low voices. Whenever they saw
