Sleeping in the Wind, Lonely Swordsman, and Bright Moon Reflecting Snow all felt their scalps tingle.
What the three of them faced now was the second form of a G-Creature. While G1 still retained forty to fifty percent of a human appearance, G2 had completely mutated into a monster that merely resembled a human.
According to the Monster Bestiary,
G2 was a Second Rank One-Star monster.
It was also among the best monsters of its rank.
Its massive claws could tear a Tyrant Zombie apart in a single strike.
"Open fire!"
Lonely Swordsman swept his submachine gun, and a burst of bullets instantly sent flesh and blood spraying from the monster's body. However, G2's attack, defense, and regeneration had all been enhanced.
Such an attack could not possibly threaten it!
Although G2's mobility was still a relative weakness, it had improved greatly compared to G1. It also possessed a charging skill, more than making up for its lack of speed.
The three adventurers dodged in disarray.
G2 charged forward and smashed through a concrete wall.
It quickly turned around, using its huge right arm to block the incoming bullets. Braving the barrage, it charged again and slammed Sleeping in the Wind into the wall, instantly robbing him of his ability to move.
"It's over!"
Sleeping in the Wind felt despair.
The space here was too cramped, leaving no room to maneuver or evade.
Engaging such a monster in close combat gave them virtually no chances of winning.
He decisively pulled a grenade from his body, but before he could pull the pin, G2's retractable claws snapped out and swept across him, slicing from his left shoulder all the way to his abdomen.
