Although I had no chance to strike back at Huang Huang, getting the Dragon-Illuminating Wall did ease some of the anger in my heart.
After all, it wasn't as if I was going to be exposed as a dragon, right?
Li Mu Yang patted Tie Mu Xin on the shoulder and asked, "Why did you come too?"
Tie Mu Xin grinned foolishly and pointed at Lu Qiji. "I saw her chasing a small animal ahead. I figured I had nothing better to do, so I came along."
Li Mu Yang looked at Lu Qiji and found that she hadn't noticed him at all. Her gaze remained fixed on the snow-white little beast flying through the air—not going far, yet unwilling to come any closer.
That was the snowball Li Mu Yang liked.
Li Mu Yang walked over to Lu Qiji and said quietly, "I noticed it first."
Lu Qiji didn't even glance at Li Mu Yang. Her eyes remained fixed on the snowball as she said coldly, "Heavenly treasures belong to the worthy. Whoever claims it gets it."
"I've already given it a name. It's called Snowball."
"Once it falls into my hands, I can keep calling it Snowball."
Lu Qiji ignored Li Mu Yang and walked step by step toward the snow beast.
Unwilling to let someone snatch away the Snowball he liked, Li Mu Yang waved at it with an ingratiating smile and said, "Snowball, come here. I'll give you something delicious."
Snowball seemed rather afraid of Li Mu Yang. When it saw him waving, it not only failed to come over but puckered its little mouth and kept backing away.
Tie Mu Xin put an arm around Li Mu Yang's shoulders and asked quietly, "What is that thing? It looks pretty, but it probably isn't useful, right?
