After escaping the turmoil in Sien, Gao De traveled north to climb Danton Peak and seek a secluded place to plant trees. He gained new abilities and met Du Wei, whose summit race with him became a companionable journey.

• Gao De escaped the Holy Empire’s takeover of Saint Sien City with Jose’s Fourth Circle Rune Construct, while the Okenly Family searched for him.
• Gao De reached Airaheim, obtained the Ice Skating formula and climbing supplies, then began ascending Danton Peak with Flora.
• Gao De defeated Small Ice Elementals and collected an Ice Stone as his Adaptive ability increased his resistance to the mountain’s harsh conditions.
• Gao De found Du Wei unconscious after a storm destroyed his tent, cared for him while he recovered, and learned he was also climbing toward the summit.
• Gao De fought a group of Small Ice Elementals and used their Origin to upgrade Endure Elements into Endure Elements+.
• Gao De stole and swallowed a magical lotus from a Snow Leopard’s cave, gaining the Mandora Demon Eye, then caught up with Du Wei.
• Du Wei killed the pursuing Snow Leopard, and he and Gao De continued climbing together, sharing campsites and meals as their race grew more companionable.

Gao De reached the Northern Territory, gained allies, and pursued a place to plant Yggdrasil as a beast tide devastated the Snover Clan. Captured while carrying Baruk’s warning, he learned that a high-ranking Snowfield Guardian had framed Baruk and agreed to help expose the mastermind.

• Gao De survived Danton Peak’s gale, reached the summit with Du Wei, and watched Du Wei disappear through a magic array after giving him the remaining food.
• Gao De skied down the mountain and saved the Duo'er Border Tribe from Snow Wolves, then received Ice Marrow and taught Joey and the tribe basic magic.
• Gao De traveled toward the Snover Clan, helped Baruk and Ryan hunt Snowfield Hyenas, learned Feral Ingenuity, and reached Snover Camp.
• Gao De studied Aesir Language and constructed Feral Ingenuity+, then spotted an approaching beast tide and urged Lana to flee Snover Camp.
• Baruk and Chief Snover killed the Golden-Eyed Snow Wolf, but Ryan died and the Snover Clan suffered severe losses, and Baruk asked Gao De to warn the Snowfield Guardians.
• Gao De discovered that Ona was suspicious, escaped the Guardian branch with a warning, and was intercepted by Catherine and Loich, who captured him with Law-Breaking Ice Needles.
• Gao De endured the needles’ Truefrost chill during the journey, increasing his cold resistance, pain tolerance, and injury recovery while Catherine and Loich investigated Baruk’s story.
• Catherine and Loich confirmed Baruk had killed the Golden-Eyed Snow Wolf and been framed by a high-ranking Guardian, and Catherine kept Gao De in custody, and he agreed to help seek Elder Grant’s aid.

Gao De helped expose the plot against Catherine and Elder Grant, then Flora identified what the Icejade Wutong needed to advance. When Donald targeted Flora, Gao De pulled the Truefrost Sword and was recognized as the tribe’s new king, leaving him with authority to demand Donald’s appearance.

• Gao De and Flora helped Elder Grant stop the Goldensheen Wheat blight, and Loich traced the conspiracy to a hideout where the conspirators were captured and Catherine was freed.
• Loich explained the political struggle between Sunaifa and Donald, while Catherine identified Ryan the Arbiter, Chief Quentin, and Archbishop Rune as possible leads in the Snowfield Guardian’s forbidden necromancy case.
• Flora examined the Icejade Wutong and found it was ready to advance but lacked Ice Elemental power, so Sunaifa had the elders replenish it under Flora’s supervision.
• Donald learned Flora had helped the tribe and tried to seize her, but the Icejade Wutong blocked him and Sunaifa ordered him taken to Icecliff Prison before deferring his punishment to the elders’ council.
• Gao De pulled Northwind from the black crystal rock, and Grant recognized him as the person described in the prophecy.
• Sunaifa and nearly ten thousand Truefrost Tribe members knelt before Gao De and declared him their new king, and Gao De ordered Grant to bring Donald before him.

Gao De united the Truefrost Tribe, defeated the Snowfield Guardians, and began reshaping the Northern Territory through Yggdrasil and improved crops. The arc ended with a hostile Artificial Omniscient Eye revealing a possible connection to the Frostguard Tribe, while Cassite joined the effort to expand Goldensheen Farm.

• Gao De accepted the Truefrost people’s recognition of him as king, executed Donald, and ordered the tribe to march on Frostfield Temple.
• Gao De advanced his Mandala Eye and helped the Icejade Wutong Tree reach Sixth Tier before leading the Truefrost army toward the temple.
• Ryan raised Archbishop Rune as a puppet and led the Snowfield Guardians against the Truefrost Tribe, but Sunaifa used Breath of the Wild to freeze and kill him.
• Gao De forced the Snowfield Guardians to surrender, claimed their assets and records for Phoenix, and brought their mages back to the city.
• Gao De and Sunaifa planted Yggdrasil at Valar Bay, where its roots began transforming the snowfield and drew the attention of distant beings.
• Gao De established the Ministry of Agriculture and guided the breeding of Northwestern Barley No. 1, while Sunaifa’s Nature’s Touch accelerated crop growth.
• Gao De planted more seeds around Yggdrasil, which nourished him and increased his lifespan and Mental Strength.
• Sunaifa captured a 5th Circle Artificial Omniscient Eye, and Gao De and Sunaifa suspected it was sent by the Frostguard Tribe as Cassite set out to help develop Goldensheen Farm.
