Background / History

The Wind Alliance developed in secret under Qin Feng’s direction. By the time its scale became apparent, it had penetrated nearly every industry in the cities, while Sisi, Xiao Chenyu, and Wang Sheng handled operations on Qin Feng’s behalf. Qin Feng eventually became a hands-off proprietor as the organization’s systems matured. 211 212

Its early identity was deliberately commercial and neutral. It conducted business with both the Empire and Spirit Hall, avoided formal factional struggles, and used its market reach to secure independence. This neutrality made cooperation with the alliance attractive to isolated groups such as the Nine-Heart Begonia lineage. 221 223

Qin Feng’s leadership was initially concealed from most outsiders. Sisi publicly identified him as the alliance’s true helmsman during negotiations with Bai Qinxin, shocking the Ye Family due to his youthful appearance. 222

Recruitment of High-Level Forces

Qin Feng strengthened the alliance beyond commerce by recruiting Bai Qinxin, Dugu Bo, the Wind Sword Sect, and the Water Clan. Spirit Hall’s Attempted Absorption

Spirit Hall eventually identified the alliance as a threat because it controlled much of the continent’s economic lifeline. When Spirit Hall sent powerful envoys and demanded control of the alliance, Qin Feng refused. Wartime Arms Dealer

During Qin Feng’s four-year absence, the continent divided into the Empire Alliance, Spirit Hall Empire, and Wind Alliance. Dugu Bo maintained the alliance’s neutrality by selling weapons to both sides, expanding its territory and making it too useful for either faction to casually attack. 932

Siege and Qin Feng’s Return

The Spirit Hall Empire later redirected its forces against the Wind Alliance, while the Empire Alliance seized its industries. With only a handful of cities remaining, Dugu Bo, Huan Yin, Huo Lieyang, Sisi, and Bai Qinxin held the organization together until Qin Feng returned. 937 938 939

Qin Feng’s return restored morale across the army, enabling the Wind Alliance to reverse battlefield losses and openly pursue continental unification. 949 950 977

Formation of the Fengling Empire
