Any decree personally delivered by Grand Supervisor of the Inner Palace Yu Chaoen was either an important one, or meant for someone of unusual status.
Within the Ancestral God Hall, aside from the Grand Priest and several Grand Authority Priests, there was only Princess Changle.
Hearing the implication beneath his words, Ye Zhen wisely asked no further questions. He cupped his hands and said, "Then I shall not keep you, Grand Supervisor."

Yu Chaoen turned and left with the young eunuchs carrying the decree. But as they followed him away, the last young eunuch brushed lightly past Ye Zhen. With just a flick of his sleeve, a jade slip appeared in Ye Zhen's robes.
A faint smile remained on Ye Zhen's face as he quietly sent his divine sense into the jade slip.
There were only two words inside the jade slip: "Do not return!"
As he watched Yu Chaoen enter the Barbarian Spirit Hall, Ye Zhen's brow furrowed tightly.
What exactly did those words, "Do not return," delivered by that young eunuch mean?
A warning, or guidance?
Ye Zhen knew perfectly well that he neither knew that young eunuch nor had any connection with him. For the young eunuch to give him this jade slip, he must have acted on Yu Chaoen's instructions.
