The ones sent to greet them were members of Bronze Academy's etiquette department. She was a genuine Bronze Race priest, with the rugged bone structure of a Bronze Dwarf yet a spirited beauty. She also didn't look very old, seemingly a junior like them.
Grandpa Lu followed closely behind the big shot, looking around curiously.
Before they came, their mentor had mentioned that this mission would be organized and handled entirely by the younger generation. How the various academies' groups organized manpower, analyzed intelligence, assigned tasks, and fought for benefits for their own teams—in all of these matters, the elders would not interfere!
It seemed to be a test for the younger generation as well.
"We haven't seen each other for a few months, but your aura has become much purer, Reina." Standing at the very front and acting as team captain, Carmen gazed at the other party and openly performed the etiquette of his race. His gesture was bold and rugged, filled with a hearty spirit.
The priest opposite him smiled faintly. "You flatter me, Senior Carmen. I'm still somewhat inferior to you."
The two seemed very familiar with each other and soon began chatting.
"The boss seems to be very familiar with the people here. Looks like I won't be bullied here," Grandpa Lu muttered softly.
"Can you have a little more ambition?"
Amanda finally couldn't stand it anymore and glanced at him.
Xiu chuckled. "You're calling him boss rather naturally."
Grandpa Lu rolled his eyes at him. "If you were the strongest, I'd call you boss too."
Xiu was immediately rendered speechless. For a moment, he actually found himself unable to refute that.
Amanda sneered. "Do you think all strong people like having bootlickers?"
