Carmen was the first to react, immediately reprimanding Amanda.
Amanda bit her lip slightly and glanced at Feng Doudou, whose expression had remained unchanged, yet whose presence was so striking. Her heart tightened again. Those damn contaminators!!
"I'm sorry." Carmen smiled apologetically. "I'll apologize to you on her behalf."
Feng Doudou nodded slightly but said nothing. It wouldn't do to make too much of a fuss. This reception duty was worth quite a few credits, and she didn't want to mess it up. After all, she was seriously short on credits.
"If you seniors are tired, I can take you to your rooms to settle in first?"
"Oh, there's no need yet." Carmen smiled. "I want to look around. Besides, Reina said that the people from Tirisfal Academy will be arriving later. There are some familiar faces, so I want to greet them first. By the way, which of the academies on the list have already arrived?"
