"Are you okay?"

Acheron glanced at her with concern, while Lin Shuang waved her hand, continuing to use her greatsword to tear through the monster encirclement and move closer to the Stellaron.

As she charged, Lin Shuang couldn't resist a quip.

"I'm fine, just a bit noisy, but much better than the silence of the Nihility."

Watching Lin Shuang weave and dodge among the monsters, advancing with agility, Acheron's worry eased by half.

At least the recent tempering had paid off.

Lin Shuang had made significant progress in both combat ability and willpower.

Of course, Lin Shuang's stamina wasn't infinite.

By the time she fought her way to the base of the launch tower, Lin Shuang's arms were already starting to feel weak.

The Stellaron's light enveloped the collapsed launch tower, intensely brilliant.

As Lin Shuang approached, the buzzing sound in her mind grew more insistent.

Accompanied by the sound of a blade being drawn, Acheron swiftly dispatched the monsters lurking there and appeared beside Lin Shuang.

"What are you planning to do?"

Lin Shuang winked at Acheron, flipped her small hand, and a card appeared between her index and middle fingers.

"I'll try this first."

Lin Shuang, holding the Storage Card, walked towards the Stellaron, while Acheron naturally took over the task of clearing out the monsters.

However, after Lin Shuang's relentless assault, there wasn't much pressure left.

She walked deeper into the launch silo. The Stellaron's light shone brilliantly.

The Stellaron was housed within a massive, damaged piece of machinery. The equipment clearly didn't match the style of this spaceport.

Perhaps it was built to suppress and contain the Stellaron, but it had been damaged later.

And within the shattered instrument, a Stellaron, constantly swirling with golden light, resplendent like a treasure, was nestled.

The dazzling golden light made the Stellaron look less like the Cancer of all worlds that brought destruction, and more like a star fallen from the heavens.

"So beautiful."

Lin Shuang ignored the seductive whispers echoing in her mind.

She raised the Storage Card in her hand and brought it close to the Stellaron. Then, without Lin Shuang needing to activate it, the Storage Card seemed to sense her intention.

With a flash of white light, the golden Stellaron was as if swallowed, without the slightest delay.

The golden light quietly dissipated, and the white light faded away.

On the Storage Card, which had been empty, a slowly rotating Stellaron pattern appeared.

And whether it was expected or unexpected.

Once the Stellaron was stored, the annoying noise immediately stopped, and the uncomfortable sensation vanished instantly.

Acheron could already sense that the space lanes outside the planet were beginning to clear.

However, even with the Stellaron gone, the Void, the monsters lingering on the planet, or the completely destroyed ecosystem were not things that could be repaired in a short time.

Unless the Interastral Peace Corporation was willing to spend a fortune to reshape the planet.

But with the civilization on the planet extinct, if there was no additional value, they likely wouldn't invest much resource in reshaping it.

"Did it work? I can feel the Stellaron's power is gone, and the routes to other worlds will soon be clear."

Acheron approached from behind, and she also saw the slowly rotating Stellaron pattern on the card.

It was clear Lin Shuang's card was truly magical.

It accomplished what even Ms. Herta couldn't.

After all, Herta needed an entire space station to suppress a Stellaron, whereas Lin Shuang's card was clearly far superior to Herta's space station in terms of portability and effectiveness.

However, unfortunately, this was not the time for Acheron to relax.

Because Lin Shuang didn't just want to seal the Stellaron; she was audacious enough to want to use the Stellaron's power as her own weapon.

Although at Acheron's level, she didn't think much of a Stellaron.

But this was not something she could calmly accept: someone trying to wield the power of a Stellaron as an individual.

Especially when that person was someone Acheron cared about.

"Mhm, now for the most important part."

Lin Shuang said, flipping her greatsword and leaning it against her in front of her.

Her hand, holding the card, fumbled and pressed a button on the thick hilt. Click.

A groove appeared before Lin Shuang.

It was a slot for installing an energy source, initially shaped like a battery compartment.

Even though this energy core was meant for the greatsword, the sword itself was originally a manifestation of power from a Herrscher Core.

In reality, it was no different from directly inserting the Herrscher Core.

Lin Shuang felt that making it this way was just another one of those malicious jokes.

However, as Lin Shuang held the card closer, the groove quickly shifted its form, becoming a slot for the card.

Clearly, this sword possessed highly intelligent adaptive capabilities.

But Lin Shuang didn't insert it directly this time. Instead, with a wave of her hand, she released the Stellaron she had just stored.

The familiar sticky sensation returned. Lin Shuang grabbed the Stellaron and shoved it into the groove of the greatsword, snapping the cover shut with a click.

Then, boom—

Flames erupted, and the massive blade suddenly began to vibrate at high frequency, even emitting a piercing hum.

Bzzzzzz—!

Lin Shuang felt an incredibly violent and uncontrollable power surging from the Herrscher Core.

Golden light began to radiate outward, centered on Lin Shuang's body.

This time, the Stellaron's violent reaction was manifesting directly on Lin Shuang!

"Ugh—!"

The uncontrollable power surged wildly within her. If the Herrscher Core hadn't automatically limited its output to a safe level, Lin Shuang's body would have been torn apart on the spot!

The moment Acheron heard Lin Shuang's scream, she immediately sensed something was wrong.

"Lin Shuang!"

She shouted Lin Shuang's name, ignoring the raging flames, and stepped forward, rushing into the fire. She reached out and grabbed the greatsword from Lin Shuang's hand.

With a flip, she pulled Lin Shuang into her embrace and roughly snatched both the greatsword and the Storage Card.

Acheron opened the energy cover of the greatsword. Without any input from her, the sword automatically spat out the Stellaron.

The ejected Stellaron then collided with the Storage Card and was re-contained.

Freed from the energy source, Lin Shuang finally recovered from the loss of control.

The violent energy rapidly dissipated into the air, and once the energy subsided to a certain extent, Lin Shuang regained her self-control.

"That was too dangerous."

Holding Lin Shuang's greatsword in one hand and pressing down firmly on Lin Shuang's shoulder with the other, Acheron lowered her head, frowning, and looked at the girl in her arms.

Lin Shuang's face was pale, clearly, the experience had not been pleasant.

Even with her good temper, she couldn't help but feel a little angry now.

Why was this person always so reckless?

Lin Shuang, however, leaned into Acheron's embrace and chuckled:

Seeing Lin Shuang still explaining, Acheron's recent guilt vanished completely.

"You should have at least discussed it with me first."

"Okay, next time for sure."

Lin Shuang winked at Acheron and, leaning on Acheron's arm, broke free from her embrace.

She picked up her longsword again.

This allowed the Herrscher Core ample time to convert the rampant energy as it drew it in.

Anything it couldn't convert would be trapped within the Storage Card, unable to be released. Only the parts the Herrscher Core could fully control would be transmitted.

By the time it reached Lin Shuang, it was more like the byproduct of the Stellaron's energy decaying within the Herrscher Core.

As a result, while Lin Shuang still felt the power was a bit volatile, it had reached a controllable level.

Lin Shuang controlled the energy that continuously filled the Herrscher Core, boldly summoning a handful of flames and setting off a firework in front of herself and Acheron.

"Acheron, look! I told you it would work, haha~ Now I can unleash my flames to my heart's content."
