After the performance ended, the theater lights dimmed considerably. The stage lights slowly faded, leaving only lingering halos swirling across the stage—mysterious, noisy, and intoxicating.
After thinking for a moment, Lanchi decided to take this opportunity to ask the Music Department Director a few more questions.
However, Lanchi could not directly ask the Music Department Director whether anything had happened at the school as he had interrogated Bachelle.
He did not want to rashly arouse the Music Department Director's suspicions.
So he chose a reasonable way to ask:
"By the way, Director, when will the principal be back?"
"Hard to say. A few days ago, after the school held a high-level meeting, the principal went to the Demon Realm Education Bureau. But don't worry, the school can still operate normally. Lanchi murmured, looking not at all as though he was trying to pry. He merely seemed curious.
"Whenever the principal, vice principal, and several Senior Professors hold a high-level meeting like this, there must be some troublesome matter involved. But don't think about it. It's not something we can interfere with. And don't worry too much. This is a prestigious school with several Great Demon Race alumni. As long as we follow the rules, even the Ministry of Education won't dare act recklessly."
A powerful figure in the Demon Realm who could be called a Great Demon Race member was at least Tier 8. Every one of them held a pivotal position in the Demon Realm.
