The small car was winding along the twisting mountain road through the Nox Mountains.

Hughberlian gazed quietly out the window. Whenever the car was about to reach a dead end, a traffic sign would appear by the roadside: "Curve Ahead" or "Sharp Turn Ahead." After every bend, the road ahead would invariably open into a bright, expansive vista.

"Mountain roads twist and turn; beyond every bend lies a new view."

Hughberlian, dressed in a different outfit, murmured to herself.

The words "Curve Ahead" struck her eyes again and again, just as Lanchi had once knocked open her heart.

So it turned out the road had not reached its end. She simply needed to step on the brakes and slow down.

Whenever she felt she had reached a dead end, Lanchi would appear like a hero and tell her that the sky had not fallen—an opportunity had merely arrived.
