Krui Di Empire's capital.

South of Bulida City-State, Saint Krui Di Monastery.

The autumn midday sun poured through the dining room's floor-to-ceiling windows, casting a hint of warmth over the plain white walls and deep-brown wooden furniture.

"Wow."

Lanqi sat upright at the dining table as the dishes before him continued to increase.

Every so often, Talia would bring out another plate, filling the dining room with enticing aromas.

"Go ahead and eat."

Talia looked at Lanqi's stiff posture, glanced back at him, and spoke.

"I'll wait for you."

Lanqi answered firmly.

Actually, watching Tata eat was even more appetizing than eating himself.

"You..."

Talia didn't know what to say and headed back to the kitchen again.

Before long, the dishes emerged one after another and were carried into the dining room by Talia.

The main dish was a large plate of crisp, golden Fried Pork Chop. Oil glistened beneath the crunchy cuts, accompanied by lemon slices and chopped chives. A small dish beside it held a refreshing pickle salad, whose fresh aroma carried a faint hint of spice.

On another white porcelain plate sat several Baked Potato with different expressions. They had been cut into adorable Cat Head shapes, soft and fluffy, and gave off the rich aroma of butter, oil, and salt.

Talia brought out the last dish, removed her apron, and sat across from Lanqi.

"Tata, you're the best, meow!"

Cat Boss happily cried out. Its little bowl was filled with its favorite tuna and fresh shrimp salad, garnished with some green seaweed.

Tata was now even more diligent about cooking than it was. Most of the household cooking had been handed over to Tata.

And she had lived up to expectations, taking excellent care of both Lanqi and Cat Boss.

Then it was time for lunch.
