Suye withdrew his gaze from the direction of the Norse Pantheon and asked grimly, "Where's Loki?"
"Ah?"
"I've always suspected that Loki was plotting something. Now I'm even more certain," Suye said.
"Ah? What happened?" Hecatoncheires looked around.
"The Twilight War could have started earlier or later, but it chose this exact moment. Don't you think that's too much of a coincidence?" Suye asked.
"Oh, no..." Hecatoncheires' expression changed. "Could he have taken the World Tree remains and run off on his own?"
"You're underestimating Loki. The World Tree Trunk remains aren't worth doing that for."
As Suye spoke, his figure flashed, and he teleported, along with Hecatoncheires, to the largest divine star in the Twelve Connected Stars. He stood above the mountain of World Tree Trunk remains and looked down over the entire star.
"Loki, come out..."
"Ah..."
A shrill scream erupted from a land of rolling mountains. Then, a streak of blood shot into the sky.
High above, the phantoms of the Myriad Trees withered and yellowed, while countless living creatures wailed.
Suye looked grimly at the phantom in the sky.
Hecatoncheires said in horror, "That's the omen of a god who held the divine authority over forests dying. What exactly happened...?"
"Loki!"
The enraged voice crossed countless starfields and planes, as if it had come from the highest peak of the universe.
A terrifying thunderbolt stretching ten thousand miles stabbed out from the depths of space, blasting through the void and piercing the sun as it headed straight for the Twelve Connected Stars.
The thunderbolt blazed across the world, dimming the sun and forcing heaven and earth to submit.
Disaster Light Tree God roared in despair.
That was the power of world destruction and the apocalypse.
Suye knew that voice very well.
The Norse God King, Odin.
