"As long as Odin can be killed within ten years, he's willing to pay this price. Once Odin manages to hold on for ten years and receives the Ninth Time's planar gift, he may very well gain the power to reverse Twilight. Zeus has no choice but to do this," said the Master of Gray Dwarves.
Suye sighed and said, "Surtur and Nidhogg are basically equivalent to two Godkings. The Twilight Wolf, World Serpent, and Hell Hound together are equivalent to another Godking. Three Godkings joining forces against Odin, a Godking—why is Zeus still worried?"
"What kind of god is Zeus? Deeply cunning and utterly vicious. Back then, when Cronus severely wounded Uranus, he mainly relied on the power of Earth Mother Gaia. Zeus's mother, Rhea, had no such ability. The overthrow of Cronus's divine authority was entirely planned by Zeus himself. If Odin could return to his prime, Zeus would be utterly helpless. But Odin is too old now, and when the Twilight Battlefield descends, he'll suffer the greatest impact. Besides, if he doesn't die, how can Northern Europe be reborn? Most importantly, he has already resolved to die." The Master of Gray Dwarves lowered his head slightly and sipped his divine wheat beer, its white foam thick on top.
"That's right. He's been seeking death all along." Suye sighed.
"What bad things are you saying about me behind my back?"
An incongruous voice interrupted their conversation. Odin's middle-aged incarnation suddenly appeared beside the table.
The Master of Gray Dwarves secretly glanced at Odin. Seeing him smiling pleasantly, he relaxed, pushed the wine pot toward Odin, and said with a grin, "This is divine wheat beer I brewed myself. Have a taste."
Odin smiled, took it, poured himself a cup, and downed it in one gulp.
"Hic... Good stuff!"
