In the mountain-shaped underwater city, black coral trees divided the city into ring after ring. The various districts were arranged in an orderly fashion, growing brighter from bottom to top as they neared the surface.
The upper level beneath the sea was the brightest, filled everywhere with all kinds of large buildings.

The middle level was the liveliest. Fishmen streamed back and forth among countless shops and vendors, with wares dazzling the eyes.
What attracted Suye most were the fish heads, fish bodies, rows of fish bones, and colorful scales and fins in the underwater market.
From a distance, Suye saw a fishman mother and daughter with colorful seaweed tied around their waists, standing before a fish-meat stall. The one-meter-tall white fishman girl pointed at a row of plump fish bellies striped red and white.
The girl's mother lowered her head and looked at her wallet. After a long while, she pointed at a cyan fish head. She then glanced at her daughter. That cyan fish head seemed to be half the girl's size, so she immediately moved her finger toward a smaller cyan fish head.
The stall owner swiftly removed the fish head, handing it to the little girl with one hand while collecting Shell Coins with the other.
The little fishman girl excitedly blew out a string of bubbles. Hugging a fish head larger than her own, she opened her mouth, revealing two rows of sharp little teeth, and began gnawing noisily. Scales flew everywhere, and blood splattered in all directions.
Other fishman children nearby stared at the girl with drool streaming from their mouths. They had no choice but to stuff their fins into their mouths to block it.
