Background / History

Tantai Qin identifies herself as the former Moon God. During the Heavenly Realm’s great catastrophe, her Dao was severely damaged; she sealed her Immortal Seat, severed karma, escaped through a shattered timeline, and entered a long slumber in a small world. She awoke 113 years before her account to Shen Qian. 485

After awakening with no cultivation, she was found by Xu Nian and brought to Mei Yuan. Duke of Yanshan Han Chi accepted her as a disciple and showed her a new path: the path of slaughter. 485

Her memories remain incomplete. Even after using her Divine Ability to investigate herself, she could see only fog. She nevertheless retains instinctive familiarity with the Heavenly Court, its Heavenly Soldiers, and artifacts such as the Heavenly Scale. 240 243

Beneath that distance, she is fiercely protective and willing to bear extreme costs for others. Jiangzhong Military University

As vice principal, Tantai Qin becomes one of Shen Qian’s potential mentors. She confronts him over being found unconscious and unclothed in his basement after an Origin Energy crisis, but eventually accepts that he used acupuncture and alchemy to save her. Heavenly Court Expedition

Tantai Qin’s False Body accompanies Shen Qian beyond Jiangzhong Military University’s Gate. She identifies the realm as the Heavenly Court, protects him from massed Heavenly Soldiers, and enters the Extreme State at immense personal cost. 239 242 243

After Shen Qian breaks through to Mountain Sea using the polluted Jade Pond, she remains by his side while he advances toward the Heavenly Scale and confronts the Heavenly Court’s forces. 244 245

Protection Against the Marquises

Tantai Qin openly defends Shen Qian against Marquis Liegu despite her position as Duke Yanshan’s eldest disciple and Shen Qian’s connection to the rival Marquis of Jingcheng. Her sword strike wounds the Marquis, revealing combat power far beyond what Shen Qian expected from a Mountain Sea cultivator. 437 438

Moon God and the Heavenly Book

After recovering her Immortal Seat, Tantai Qin is weakened by its unfamiliar Moon Dao and becomes surrounded by enemies seeking the Heavenly Book. Sea of Learning

Tantai Qin abandons her Immortal Seat and joins the Sea of Learning. Though she initially distances herself from Shen Qian, she repeatedly protects him, assists him in acquiring Literary Positions, and fights alongside him against defected Marquises. 553 562 569
