• Earl Pingyang revealed that Tantai Qin had awakened from ancient times and came from behind the Gates, while Shen Qian pursued secret realm training and formed a Mental Core with Cheng Qingqing’s help.

After defeating Bai Fei, Shen Qian discovers that his Ten Apertures Body has hit a cultivation bottleneck and uses the system to transform his Origin Energy, which draws him through the Gate into the ruined Heavenly Court. He escapes the realm, gains immense strength and treasures at Wuding Bridge, and returns to Jiangzhong with questions about Jiang Chengye and his new power.

• Shen Qian defeated Bai Fei in a saber clash, and Tian Liqing turned Shen Qian's stele into a challenge for Suke Martial University's students.
• Shen Qian studied the Ten Directions Creation Body, discovered his ten opened apertures had caused his strength to reach a 9999 Kg bottleneck, and sought a way to strengthen his Origin Energy.

Shen Qian survived an official inquiry, took command of Ninth Company, and prepared for the Nine Heavens Competition. In a Lesser Thousand World, he helped defeat the Spirit Witch Clan’s Great Protector, but the dying world left him unconscious before he could collect its buried Origin Stones.

• Shen Qian returned to Jiangzhong Military University, where officials sentenced him to expulsion and military service until he revealed he had reached Mountains and Seas, ending the inquiry and exposing the officials’ recruitment efforts.
• Shen Qian became Ninth Company’s Legion Commander, punished its undisciplined troops, reclaimed its territory and supplies from rival companies, and promised to restore its benefits.
• Shen Qian read Big Shot Gao’s cultivation methods, learned from Tantai Qin about Mountains and Seas paths, and trained while preparing for the Nine Heavens Competition.

Shen Qian joined Jiangzhong Military University for the Nine Heavens Competition, where his teammates fought their way into the final while he remained on the sidelines. The arc ended as Ding Yi faced Zhao Keyi in the one-battle final, with the real purpose of Wang Shuo’s proposal revealed.

• Shen Qian escaped the Spirit Witch World, learned that Calamity Buddha had absorbed the power he gained there, and reunited with his friends and Ji Ruoshui in Magic City.
• At the Nine Heavens Competition, Jiangzhong Military University defeated Overlord Military University after Xiao Ye won three bouts, then advanced through the tournament as Yue Dakuan, Ye Shicong, and the rest of the team claimed victories.
• Geng Qianqiu defeated two Shenwu University contestants before Cao Qian badly injured him, and Shen Qian intervened before Cao could land a final blow.
