Xiao Gou touched his stiff, prickly hair, his face wreathed in smiles.
"I never thought it would be this simple. We just had to cut off the scalp."
Ever since returning to headquarters from Antarctica, Xiao Gou had been quarantined for examination.
After trying all kinds of methods, the Research Department determined that the Ice Crystal hair was perfectly fused with his scalp and absolutely impossible to separate.
So they simply performed surgery, cutting off Xiao Gou's entire scalp, transplanting a new piece, and growing hair on it again.
The Ice Crystal monster could not be destroyed, but separating it from the human body and locking it up was, in effect, equivalent to destroying it.

Xiao Gou's understanding of Contained Objects had deepened.
Contained Objects only had traits and phenomena. As for principles? What were principles? Contained Objects had no need for such things at all.
"Exactly. Contained Objects possess their own unique principles, and those principles can't be applied universally. We have no way to extract technology from them," Master Qi said.
"All right, all right. Got a mission?" Xiao Gou asked with a grin. He had spent two months in the Research Department to deal with his hair problem.
Now that he had finished recuperating, he could hardly wait to get back to work.
