For just four hours, Mo Qiong and Master Gou worked separately, cooperating with the local government and some Outsider Personnel.
In total, more than 970 people were arrested. Many of them were relatives, friends, neighbors, or colleagues of the fourteen people who had visited the jungle tribe, along with a few unrelated individuals.
Pulling out one radish brought up a whole patch. Those people had families of their own, and the investigation kept expanding. In the end, nearly a thousand people were arrested!
Every one of their homes had those wooden pillars!
Those who did not have one were also temporarily taken away for investigation and would be released once they were cleared.
"Are there any more?" Mo Qiong asked grimly.
"Not for now. Luckily, they all became reluctant to go outside. Otherwise, there would definitely be far more than this," Master Gou said.
By now, the Police Station could no longer hold anyone else, so Nawa directly emptied out an apartment building to house them.
"D-80749 and D-80750 have arrived." A bulletproof vehicle drove up beneath the apartment building. Outsider Personnel escorted two men in blue uniforms out of it.
"Mo Qiong, you handle the interrogation. I'll take the D-Class Personnel to inspect and clean out these people's homes," Master Gou said.
Mo Qiong nodded and walked straight into the interrogation room, ordering the first two men arrested to be brought in.
The two men were biological brothers. One was named Zagu, and the other Pengu. Both had already left home to become monks.
However, according to the temple, they had not gone there in three years. They had only been practicing at home.
