The members knew there was something strange about the vast Conductor Building, but artillery fire still forced them inside.
Then a special forces unit charged in headfirst as well.
As it turned out, someone used the new era's Nuclear Power Generator to introduce a powerful current into the framework, rapidly turning that iron building into a cage made of Solid Lightning.
The Conductor Building had originally been nothing more than a framework, riddled with gaps. But its user was clever and had made extensive use of AC Coils.
Thus, the entrances and exits that had originally been full of flaws were instantly covered up by a net of Solidified Arc Nets.
Some places were even completely filled in. Since Solid Lightning was as thick as the diameter of its white, intense glow, the actual collision volume became extremely thick after the powerful current solidified.
And so, the conductive framework was filled into a completely enclosed lightning formation.
In a single exchange, the local military forces that had entered suffered heavy casualties. The members, however, fared relatively well. They had spotted the possibility long ago and used Air Walls to suspend themselves in midair.
Another Best Controller also rescued some of the soldiers.
As for the rest, they were stabbed to death outright. Even wearing insulating suits was useless.
"The enemy is hidden, while we're exposed. This is troublesome." Soro, the only Best Controller inside the lightning formation, spoke.
"They're the ones who insisted on fighting us." A member glanced at the soldiers lying beside them on the
