Mo Qiong split the earth open again, carving a pit into the freshly reassembled Earth.
The pit led straight to the planet's core. Amid the endless lava lay a black iron-nickel core.
Mo Qiong pulled it out, but the high-pressure-condensed iron-nickel core instantly exploded when exposed to low pressure.
"Boom!"
Mo Qiong activated the force-field shield around his body to disperse the shockwave, only to find that the core had already turned into a pool of molten iron and nickel. Aside from finding a piece of Best Metal inside, there was nothing unusual about it.
Great Snake Gaia said, "This piece of Best Metal probably surfaced from the Earth's core sometime in the last ten thousand years. It's been lying here all this time, with no one to retrieve it."
"Hao also tried taking out the planetary core, but it was meaningless. What he extracted was merely ordinary core material."
"The truly distinctive thing is the point where all the pressure inside Earth's core is concentrated. If you somehow create an empty space in the center of the Earth, that Contained Object disappears. If you fill the space again, it reappears."
This was a Contained Object that existed as long as Earth existed, and ceased to exist when Earth did.
After Earth exploded, the Contained Object had originally vanished. But Mo Qiong had reassembled Earth's remains, causing the center of the Earth to once again become that planetary Contained Object.
Mo Qiong said, "Is this all you Ancient Gods managed to research?"
Great Snake Gaia said, "Hao is the one who possesses knowledge of this. I only know a little. Hmm, Hao monopolized the secrets concerning Earth's core, but he didn't at first. It was only after an Ancient God inexplicably died one day that Hao forbade the other Ancient
