Summary, Chitchat

Preface: A summary of Volume 9, some thoughts about the book, a chat about recent circumstances, and a one-day leave tomorrow.

1. Throughout the writing process, there were actually many things I wanted to talk about, but when it really came time to summarize everything, I sat in front of the computer in a daze, suddenly not knowing where to begin.

So I'll just chat about things at random and see where it takes me.

2. As for creating Volume 9, "Resident Evil," Jiaqi felt it was probably a kind of nostalgia, right?

The thought was probably: since this is an infinite-flow novel, how could it possibly be missing "Resident Evil"?

But actually, Jiaqi really hasn't read many infinite-flow novels, so I don't know exactly what other people have written.

That's a good thing. Jiaqi tries to avoid writing things others have already written. The more you read, the more severely it limits your own thinking.

The original idea was the "Resident Evil" film series, but then I felt the films' plot was a little thin. It kept circling around the same small amount of content, which really wasn't interesting to write.

Under those circumstances, after learning that the "Resident Evil" series had games, I routinely made things harder for myself and began studying the games.

There was definitely no time to play them, so I started looking up information online.

After reading a great deal of information and watching many videos, there were two things that helped Jiaqi understand the world and characters of "Resident Evil" the most. I'll share them with everyone; those who are interested can take a look.
