Neither in quantity nor quality did Tomorrow's convoy hold an advantage.

Both convoys consisted of two Level 1 Off-road Vehicles and three motorcycles, armed with Falcon Assault Rifles and Gale Rocket Launchers.

But Hanged Man's convoy was also equipped with these Level 1 weapons, and their off-road vehicles were likewise Level 1—yet they vastly outnumbered Tomorrow's.

However, the presence of the Storm IFV forcibly overturned this situation.

Its mounted Stinger Autocannon roared to life, quickly riddling an enemy off-road vehicle into a sieve. The fuel tank ignited and exploded, turning the entire vehicle into an orange fireball. Then it fired a Light Missile, instantly flipping another off-road vehicle that tried to ram it.

On the street, this Level 2 Vehicle rampaged unopposed, hunting enemy vehicles at will.

The enemy convoy attempted to fight back, but their bullets and rockets had little effect, utterly failing to damage the IFV's armor.

As the IFV driver pulled the trigger, the Stinger Autocannon and Sidewinder Machine Gun fired in alternating bursts. Muzzle flashes erupted into blinding blue-white light on the street, shell casings sprayed from the ejection port like a rainstorm, and a dense curtain of suppressive fire swept across several off-road vehicles in an instant.

They were torn apart like paper, vehicle fragments and severed limbs mingling into a mist of blood.

"So this is the power of a Level 2 Vehicle?" Li Ye's eyes widened in shock.

Though he had some expectations in his mind, witnessing its might firsthand still left him stunned.

Seeing this, the enemy convoy's morale began to crumble. They no longer pressed the fight but quickly turned and retreated into the nearby streets.

A roar sounded as two Level 1 Artillery pieces on Hanged Man fired simultaneously.

Two pale silver shells landed near Tomorrow. Amid the violent explosion, a sudden gale swept over Tomorrow, drastically slowing its speed.

At the same time, Tomorrow retaliated with its Lava Cannon.

A Lava Shell exploded against a building to the right of Hanged Man. The shockwave expanded in a spherical blast, and the entire structure burst apart like a fragile eggshell. Hundreds of wooden beams and concrete fragments, carried by the fierce wind and impact, swept over Hanged Man in an instant.

"Well done, Ning Wen!"

Li Ye was about to press the advantage when he inadvertently spotted something in the distance.

Without a second thought, he shouted into the Speaking Tube.

"Tang Fang, prepare for Mobile Evasion! Everyone on Tomorrow's deck, find nearby cover immediately!"

At that moment, Magician had emerged from the thick fog. All its artillery barrels elevated in unison, aiming at Tomorrow's location.

The next second, every gun on its deck opened fire.

A distorted shriek tore through the air as shells streaked across the sky and landed in Tomorrow's area.

The entire zone instantly turned into a sea of fire. Countless buildings twisted, deformed, and collapsed in the explosions, while a massive shockwave spread outward.

"Cough, cough!" Amid the smoke, Li Ye stood back up.

Before him was nothing but scorching heat and lingering smoke.

This barrage was so ferocious it nearly left him disoriented.

Clearly, Magician was the Predator City Alliance member specializing in fire support and bombardment.

Its mobility and defense were far inferior to its two companions, but its artillery bombardment was outstanding.

"Is everyone alright?" Li Ye quickly turned and scanned his surroundings.

The moment the shells struck, helmsman Tang Fang had executed a Mobile Evasion.

Though he couldn't escape the bombardment zone, he chose to hug the side of a nearby building, using it as a temporary shield to absorb most of the barrage.

A rumble sounded not far away. Li Ye turned to look and froze.

It was Chariot.

Even after taking a direct hit from a Lava Shell, this Predator City still had the power to move.

But its condition looked poor—most of its frontal armor was twisted and deformed, practically scrap, with some parts still on fire.

With another roar, Chariot accelerated and charged straight at Tomorrow.

At the same time, the Steam Ballista mounted on its deck fired.

A massive steam-powered bolt struck Tomorrow instantly. The arrowhead pierced the Spore Armor, and the gunpowder hidden inside the shaft detonated on a delay, collapsing the wall from within the structure.

But Li Ye had no time to worry about that now. He roared at the top of his lungs.

"Tang Fang!"

At that moment, Chariot had already rushed in, less than 100 meters from Tomorrow.

As if answering his call, Tomorrow suddenly decelerated, its center of gravity tilting left. The entire Mobile City brushed past Chariot in a half-tilted posture.

Chariot sped away. In its current acceleration state, it would need considerable time to turn around and charge again.

Li Ye barely let out a sigh of relief when his nerves instantly tightened again.

Hanged Man had launched another attack. Its artillery kept firing, and its convoy regrouped for a fresh charge.

This time, it was much more cautious, laying down a thick spread of Smoke Shells along its path to obscure Tomorrow's vision and press forward.

Looking further into the distance, Magician's artillery was nearly done reloading for another salvo.

"I've finished the calculations—this shot will definitely hit the enemy!"

Seeing his expression, Li Ye's face froze for a moment, then he nodded firmly.

"Then go for it! Ning Wen!"

With a beast-like howl, the Lava Cannon fired.

The shell exploded within the smoke cluster, churning up billowing black fumes.

Li Ye stared intently at the smoke. No further movement came from it, and even the convoy it had dispatched had stopped pursuing.

Could it be... they really hit?

But he had no time to savor the joy, because the Magician's second round of artillery volleys had already arrived.

Overwhelming explosions surged forth once again. The Tomorrow had pushed its speed to the maximum, racing through the streets.

"Report! Two unfamiliar Mobile Cities have appeared to the northwest!" Lin Xia reported. "It seems their Companions have arrived!"

Li Ye raised his binoculars and looked out. Sure enough, he spotted two new Mobile Cities.

They too bore flags and city paint jobs. One was emblazoned with a Black Robe Reaper, the other with an old man whose face and figure were hidden beneath a cloak.

The distance had now widened. Li Ye immediately issued his orders.

"Load all cannons with Smoke Shells and fire. Obscure the enemy's vision and accelerate our retreat," he said. "Fire everything—no need to conserve."
