"Forget it." He sighed.

Just as he was about to leave, Li Ye thought of something else and turned back to the kobold merchants.

"Can I bring candles to trade with you again in the future?" he asked tentatively.

The kobold merchants shook their heads. One of them raised a finger and gently wagged it.

Li Ye understood what it meant.

Only one trade was allowed.

And the more candles you offered, the better the item you received.

Li Ye nodded slightly as he looked at the blueprint in his hand.

Opportunities like a Monster Caravan were truly rare. Not only did one need to know when and where it would appear, but one also had to understand the tricks of trading with it. Ordinary people really might not be able to pull that off.

After he submitted the blueprint, the Production Workshop immediately unlocked the Falcon Assault Rifle project.

Up on the Watchtower, Li Ye slowly raised his binoculars.

A small town appeared on the distant horizon.

That was his destination: Wilderness Town.

At that moment, quite a few people in Wilderness Town had already been awakened by the rumble of Tomorrow's approach.

When they discovered a Mobile City driving toward them, some were astonished, some deeply confused, and others terrified.

After all, on the wasteland, a small town like Wilderness Town had no Heavy Machine Guns, no artillery, and not even sturdy fences.

It stood at the very bottom of the food chain.

They probably think I'm here to rob them, Li Ye thought.

He casually lowered his binoculars and instructed the lookout beside him to continue observing the town's movements before climbing down from the Watchtower.

The rest would accompany him into Wilderness Town.

The mayor of Wilderness Town was an old man with white hair and beard. He had no favorable impression of Li Ye's group, his brows furrowed the entire time.

Only after Li Ye explained his purpose did the disgust on his face lessen somewhat. He sighed.

"Fine. I hope you move quickly and leave as soon as possible."

Wilderness Town's market was very small, consisting of only a single street, and there was not much for sale.

He also needed to buy more food. The Blue Heart Potatoes they had just planted would take a week to mature, and the remaining food aboard Tomorrow was not enough to last that long.

Second, recruit talent.

If a Mobile City was to operate normally, it needed at least the following personnel.

A helmsman responsible for operating and driving it.

A gunner responsible for calibrating and firing the artillery.

A mechanic responsible for routine maintenance and replacing parts on the Mobile City.

A lookout responsible for keeping watch from the Watchtower and providing real-time information about the wasteland.

A Combat Captain responsible for maintaining internal order within the Mobile City and fighting external battles.

Aside from those specialists, Li Ye also needed to recruit at least twenty residents. They would be responsible for refueling, gathering resources in the wilderness, cleaning Tomorrow, farming the fields, and other work.

Third, gather information.

But after looking around the small town before him, Li Ye felt that his needs would likely be difficult to meet.

Wilderness Town's market was simply too small to provide all the supplies he wanted at once. Its population was also limited, making it hard to find professionals like helmsmen, gunners, or mechanics, much less recruit twenty residents.
