The Sun and Moon alternated in the Sky, and the vibrations from the Source Sea grew more frequent. As Time passed, the Gods surrounding Mount Othrys gradually increased in number.
Around the Divine Mountain, the Gods stood distinctly apart. The Okeanos Divine Family, the ancient Sea God lineage, the Mountain God lineage, and the Star God lineage were arrayed in four directions, not interacting with each other. As for the other Gods, they stood scattered among them, somewhat easing the tense atmosphere between the Divine Families.
Among the four major Divine Families, the Star God lineage was non-contending, residing in the Sky and following Hyperion as their leader, without conflicts with other Divine Families. The only one who might cause conflict, the God of Celestial Bodies Coeus, had only two children, and the Star Gods treated him with courtesy.
But the remaining three Divine Families were different. Implicitly, the Mountain Gods and the ancient Sea Gods stood together, jointly opposing the Gods of the Okeanos lineage.
The conflict between the two Sea Gods had a long history, and on the Earth, due to the increasing number of River Gods, Lake Gods, and Spring Gods, the contradictions between Okeanos and the Mountain Gods also intensified. Thus, Urea and Pontus, the two brothers, joined forces to face their nephew's increasingly powerful Divine Family.
This was why, despite having two Great Divine Powers, Okeanos had never truly attacked his uncles. This was not only out of consideration for the Earth Mother's attitude, but also because of Urea's existence.
Of course, there was also Cronus on the Divine Mountain. Everyone knew that although the God King was forced to accept the current situation where the Gods governed themselves, he would not continue to accept it.
If the Gods went to war and allowed him to seize this opportunity, then he would definitely do something.
The main Gods of several Divine Families were well aware of this.
Amidst the slightly tense atmosphere among the Gods, more than three months passed in the blink of an eye. The perfection of the Codex gradually came to an end. Around the Goddess of Law, chains of Law visibly converged, closely connecting with the increasingly profound Codex of Creation.
Using her fingertip as a brush and Source Power as ink, Themis freely wrote her achievements of the past millennium under the gaze of the Gods of Khaos. At a certain moment, when she wrote the last character, Space-Time seemed to freeze for an instant.
The surroundings of the Divine Mountain immediately fell into an eerie silence, with only the sound of the Law chains pulling remaining as before.
In this special atmosphere, Themis was not affected. The Law had been written, and only the last step remained. She placed her hand on the pages of the bronze book, and this Divine Artifact, which had become as tall as a person at some point, flickered, as if responding to the Goddess of Law's will.
Themis could feel that at this moment, she was infinitely close to the Source Sea. Every word she spoke could be heard by the world.
"In the name of the supreme Order Law, and under the witness of Khaos, I hereby make a covenant with the world."
"All born after one hundred days shall be subject to the Law; effective from this moment, for all eternity."
The voice was soft, but when it truly spread, the reality of Khaos seemed to tremble along with it. Immediately, the Order chains around Themis began to chime in an orderly manner, and strands of gray mist, from light to dark, separated from the Law. The mist gathered and dispersed erratically, eventually forming serpentine shapes. They roamed around the Codex of Creation, hissing and howling at it.
The Gods couldn't help but feel a sense of awe in their hearts. That was the Chaotic Source Power remaining in the world, a tumor left over from the beginning of Creation.
They were the placenta that conceived Tartarus, and also the core of those places outside the world that made the Gods stop. The Chaotic Source Power left here was only less than ten or twenty percent of the original, but it was enough to make any God fear it.
Chaos was inherently hostile to Order, so they surrounded the Codex of Creation. But the difference in power made them instinctively stop.
After all, the complete Divine Artifact of the Trinity was a creation truly equal to Great Divine Power, and even if it was not yet perfect, it was not something that these remaining Chaotic Source Powers could contend with.
Time passed by, and the surrounding 'Mist Snakes' gradually increased. When the last bit of scattered gray mist overflowed, the Law chains returned to calm. There was no grand display, nor a sudden surge of power, but everyone knew that 'legislation' had succeeded.
Themis's Divinity origin, like Cronus's God King authority, had gradually improved over the past hundred days. The Gods could feel that although Divine Power had not increased, the Goddess of Justice had opened the threshold to Great Divine Power.
All that remained was the accumulation of Time.
"Congratulations, my sister, all the Gods should remember your great achievement."
Around the Divine Mountain, Okeanos was the first to congratulate. Although he did not dare to approach the Divine Mountain due to those wandering Mist Snakes, his loud voice still carried far.
"Congratulations, Lady Themis."
"Congratulations, it is my honor to witness your great undertaking."
"Congratulations, your deeds today will be forever circulated in Khaos."
The voice of the Ocean God seemed to remind the gods present, and congratulatory sounds rang out one after another.
At the summit of the Divine Mountain, Themis, despite being very tired, still mustered her spirits and exchanged greetings with the gods. After a thousand years of effort, she had finally succeeded. Feeling the increase in the origin of her Divinity, Themis even gave a smile to a few of the Underworld deities whom she usually couldn't stand.
Divinities such as [Deception] and [Lust] were inherently at odds with [Law], but since they were brought by the God of Heavenly Light and the Goddess of Day, the Goddess of Justice reluctantly accepted their insincere congratulations.
However, in her memory, there should have been more than five deities from the Underworld. She wondered what had delayed the others.
The congratulatory voices of the gods continued to ring out, but Themis quickly realized their awkward situation. With the legislation completed, the gods should have come to the Divine Mountain, but due to the presence of Chaotic Source Power here, including Cronus, they could only stand far away, not daring to approach at all.
Themis had no solution to this. She signaled to Cronus with her eyes, preparing to first invite the gods to the Divine Palace behind Mount Othrys, where a celebratory banquet had already been prepared.
"Congratulations, Lady Themis."
Just as she was about to speak, a familiar voice came. The Goddess of Justice turned around in surprise, as she had thought the other party would wait until the gods had dispersed before coming.
As far as her eyes could see, Space-Time fluctuations came, and a young god in black silently appeared before her, as if the Chaotic Source Power posed no threat to him.
Several Great Divine Powers in the distance frowned. With their power, they had only detected the arrival a little earlier. They had only seen this level of Space-Time power on Cronus.
"It should be 'Congratulations to us both', Ryan."
With a slight smile, the goddess breathed a sigh of relief and pointed to the [Codex of Creation] beside her.
"Two hundred years overdue, it's time to return it to its rightful owner."
"And this Chaotic Source Power, if you hadn't come, I wouldn't have known how to deal with it."
Hearing this, many gods who had not seen Ryan were curious about his identity and what relationship he had with the Goddess of Law's artifact.
The few who recognized Ryan were also puzzled. Chaotic Source Power was simply poison to the gods born in the present world.
Ignoring the gods beside her, Ryan nodded to Themis. He stretched out his hand, and the [Codex of Creation] immediately shrank, turning into a normal-sized book that fell into his palm.
He tapped his finger on the spine of the book, and a page fell from the artifact. A golden light flashed on the page, and the surrounding Mist Snakes instantly flowed into it like a whale drawing water, leaving no trace.
Clearly, in the hands of the artifact's true owner, it displayed even greater power in the [Order] domain.
"Are you going to stay for my celebratory banquet?"
"No, I'm just here to take away these things you can't handle. I've been looking forward to the [Chaos] Source Power for a long time."
Shaking his head, Ryan declined Themis's invitation.
He had no interest in attending a banquet of this era.
With the items in hand, Ryan prepared to say goodbye. But the next moment, an inexplicable sense of oppression instantly came, causing the surrounding Space-Time to freeze.
This level of confinement didn't really affect him much. With a little more effort, Ryan could easily break it.
But he didn't do so. He simply turned slightly and looked towards the source of the power.
Unsurprisingly, in the place where his gaze fell, the Sun God's family stood there. The leader was none other than the Lord of the Sun, Hyperion.
