Evil Thing

Half a day later, Ryan returned to the Spirit World Core.

Mount Sinai was as peaceful as ever. Apart from Ryan and the First Generation Spirit World Angel he had personally created, hardly any Life could approach this place. Seven Crescent Moons scattered Moonlight, making it somewhat similar to the Eternal Night Land.

The Lady of the Night's domain was different from the Lord of Darkness; Eternal Night did not mean the absence of Light.

"Evil Spirit—or perhaps it's more appropriate to call it an Evil Thing."

"Although it's just a pure Spirit Body, this construction method of directly combining with Source Power seems to be applicable not only to Spirit Bodies."

Casually dismissing Lyanna, who came to greet him, Ryan sat in the Elas Temple, looking at Eclipse, which gathered and dispersed without form, drifting erratically, and felt a surge of joy.

This kind of creation, possessing great power and capable of being quickly produced, was indeed useful. Other Gods couldn't do this because beings directly fused with Source Power lacked Wisdom; their thoughts were completely Chaos and madness. Even their creator found it difficult to control their behavior.

But Ryan was different. As the de facto master of Source Power and the founder of the Spirit World, he could use other methods to control these Lifeforms.

"Gaia in later generations once conceived Typhon to express her dissatisfaction with Zeus and proclaim her power. Perhaps when that time comes, I can also place two Ancient Evil Things on Mount Olympus and see how this God King, who sows his seed throughout the world, will cope."

Gently tapping the armrest of the chair, Ryan was very satisfied with his creation.

The cultivation of Gods takes Time. Even with a powerful Divinity, one must have sufficient potential to bear it and ample Time to accumulate Divine Power. But these Evil Things were born powerful; they were like the Hundred-Armed Giants, their birth was their peak.

The only flaw was that, perhaps because of the fusion of Chaotic Source Power, Eclipse, although stronger as a result, was also faintly rejected by the laws of the mortal realm.

The Chaos Origin was originally a miscellaneous thing squeezed out by the Order of the mortal realm after 'Legislation'. Even if it was integrated with other things now, it was still disliked by the mortal realm.

It could be said that these types of Evil Things could only briefly stay outside from now on, or isolate the laws' perception of them through some means. Otherwise, the longer they stayed in the mortal realm, the stronger the Interface's suppression of them would be.

Only the edge of the Underworld, the end of the Ocean and the Sky, the domains of the three Primordial Gods, and a few other places were exceptions. Those areas, like the Spirit World, were not included in the mortal realm's control, so Eclipse would naturally not be affected.

"Ancient Evil Things of the Spirit World, indescribable beings wandering between Reality and Illusion, this is becoming more and more interesting."

"I wonder if Humans in later generations will regard the depths of the Spirit World as a terrifying forbidden area overrun with Evil Gods."

Smiling and shaking his head, Ryan felt a little anticipation for this.

Tearing open Space-Time, Ryan threw Eclipse into the Fifth Layer of the Spirit World.

For a Spirit World Lifeform whose power was comparable to a True God, if it had Wisdom and reason, it could naturally roam freely in the Seventh Layer of the Spirit World, but Eclipse was clearly not one of them.

Compared to ordinary Life, it preferred to stay in the chaotic and disorderly deep Spirit World. Because for them, the shallow Spirit World of the first and second layers was somewhat 'narrow'.

This 'narrowness' was not in terms of Space-Time, but in terms of Spirituality. When in the shallow Spirit World, an Evil Thing that could not restrain its power like a True God would have an instinctive sense of being bound, and its existence itself was an insurmountable disaster for non-God Spirit World Lifeforms. Therefore, unless necessary, Ryan did not intend to let it move freely.

Let it stay in the fifth and sixth layers of the Spirit World. For Eclipse, which had no Wisdom, even if it wandered for ten thousand years, unable to understand the chaotic Space-Time of the deep Spirit World, it might just be spinning in place.

After dealing with the Evil Thing he had just created, Ryan took out the [Codex of Creation] again.

Compared to before, the Brass-Colored Ancient Book clearly had more patterns, which were the manifestation of the Rules of the mortal realm. The thickness of the book had not changed, but Ryan knew that its 'number of pages' had increased by about a third.

After this 'Legislation', the components of this Creation Artifact were completely perfected.

From now on, it no longer needed to stay in the Source Power pool of the Spirit World, but could serve as one of the cores of the Spirit World, assisting Ryan in sorting out the Rules and integrating Source Power.

This one Divine Artifact alone was enough to strengthen the Rules and Order of the Spirit World by more than 30% on its original level. Externally, the speed of the Spirit World's expansion was greatly accelerated; internally, when other Life entered the Spirit World without permission, the Interface's suppression of them was also enhanced.

It could be said that existences below Intermediate Divine Power did not require Ryan to take action; the Spirit World's own chain of laws could easily suppress them.

"So, the [Codex of Creation] isn't a Divine Artifact for direct combat. Its power leans more towards support, rather than direct fighting."

Ryan shook his head, knowing that the key issue was that he was too busy merging Source Power, increasing the Spirit World's volume and the upper limit of his Divinity, and didn't have much time to accumulate Divine Power.

This time, forcing Hyperion to surrender was due to favorable timing, location, and people. Otherwise, with his current Divine Power Level of 12, it would have been really difficult to win with a support-type Divine Artifact.

The higher the Divine Power Level of a God, the greater the difference. Below Intermediate Divine Power, the type of Divinity and the number of Gods are the key to determining victory. Two or three True Gods with Weak Divine Power can defeat one with Weak Divine Power; a Divinity that leans towards combat can allow a God to 'fight beyond their level' like the Protagonist of a xuanhuan novel, taking on multiple opponents at once.

But in the realm of Great Divine Power, a difference of two Divine Power Levels is enough to easily take on two opponents and still have the upper hand. Moreover, Gods who can reach this stage generally don't have weak Divinities.

"After absorbing all of Khaos's [Fire] Source Power, I wonder if I can create a Divine Artifact specializing in combat. Zeus has [Thunder], Cronus has his Scythe, and I should also have a weapon of my own."

"It's just that the power of [Fire] is indeed a bit vast. I hope I can fully absorb the relevant concepts before Cronus's eldest daughter is born."

Ryan sighed and continued to devote himself to the great cause of digesting Source Power.

When it comes to being a God, Zeus is the most comfortable, either abusing his authority or on the road to finding a princess/queen/goddess. Unlike him, since opening up the Spirit World, he hasn't had a few days of free time.

But sighing aside, now is obviously not the time for Ryan to relax. Once the Gods related to Khaos are born one after another, unless there is another Divine Statue as easy to deceive as Cronus, he won't be able to fleece the world as unscrupulously as he does now.

Relying on the Spirit World's own operation to enhance its origin is nowhere near as simple as directly plundering. So before that, Ryan naturally wants to 'plunder as much as I can'.
