Situ Qin is the only daughter of Xue Minghe, the Prince of Western Peace, and Situ Wan, the former Holy Maiden of the Stove Sect. Her father was the celebrated general who conquered the Western Regions before being accused of rebellion; later accounts identify the uprising as an Eight Great Families plot to remove him. 162 283
