The combination of the Star of Eden and the First Herrscher possessed an extremely dangerous application, just as initially expected. But to Otto, who had already prepared to launch the Honkai Energy Fission Bomb afterward, this theoretically existing threat was now merely a useful blade.

A blade capable of reaching the Immortal's throat.

Otto watched as the Pseudo Black Hole, whose Honkai Energy level was more than sufficient to injure a Herrscher, was casually flicked away by the Immortal Chi Yuan, sent soaring into the clouds and beyond all tracking.

But if that were all, it would have been fine.

Yet in the very next frame, the strange sight of the First Herrscher being held by the back of his collar, already unconscious, plunged the bishop into silence. He began to wonder whether something had gone wrong with his plan.

He had expected the blade he had swung at his opponent to break, but he had never imagined it would end in such an absurd manner.

From the moment the two met, to the start and end of their battle, less than thirty seconds had passed—perhaps even less.

His original plan had been to make the First Herrscher and the Immortal Chi Yuan both suffer heavy losses. At the very least, the former should have inflicted some wounds on the latter. He would then use Reanna's soulium body to enter the battlefield, tilt the battle toward his desired outcome, follow up with the Honkai Fission Bomb, and finally clean up with Schicksal's armaments and troops.

As for the adjustments in between, they would depend entirely on how much of the opponent's strength could be probed, after which he would switch between several prepared contingencies.
