Background and History
At Tianlan High School, Mu Bai was regarded as a leading student: he mastered control of all seven Star Particles early. He resented Li Xingze's rare Summoning Element awakening and was especially hostile to Mo Fan, whose simultaneous Lightning and Fire awakenings revealed a Dual Element Talent 1 2 4.
Mu Bai later reunited with his Bo City classmates in the Ancient Capital. During the crisis there, he offered to investigate Mu He—his uncle—after the group suspected Mu He of serving the Black Vatican 106 116. After Mu He's death, Mu Bai's sister was his only remaining relative, and her involvement with the Black Vatican weighed on him 223.
Mu Bai subsequently moved to Tianxing City. Li Xingze supplied him with a rare toxin for his Frost Domain Fruit, then later with poison that helped his Poison Element break through. As Sea Demon activity increased, Mu Bai chose to stay and help protect the city rather than join an expedition to the Qin Mountains 223 236 243 282 291.
