After cultivating through the upheaval, Zhang Yu entered the Dark Spirit Realm and led Nascent Soul allies to defeat an ambush targeting him.

• Bai Zhenzhen wagered her life to help Zhang Yu defeat Kuang Tianqing, and the Seven Emotions Divine Lord offered Zhang Yu her support for the finals.
• Zhang Yu trained with the Heavenly Meteorite Shattered Core Scripture, then fought Kuang Tianqing for ten hours before surviving her self-destructive final attack and winning the championship.
