A sheet of black lightning appeared out of thin air. When it faded, Ou Nan, Gongsun Yi, Song Hengxiu, and the others were revealed.

Though they had escaped Spirit Map Province, they were still immersed in the lingering dread of that great battle. None of them moved.

A few minutes passed.

The giant Andula took a deep breath.

"So, when we went over there, we were just keys? Once we passed the bloodline inspection, we had no further role?"

"Looks that way. We were merely decorations—keys." Song Hengxiu heavily patted his thick arm, his spirits somewhat low.

Anyone who had witnessed such a terrifying battlefield slaughter would doubt the power they pursued.

Because they knew full well that even if they pushed their current systems to the limit, they could never reach the level of Ming King and Horudila.

"Could La of Perpetual Palace really be that strong?" Gongsun Yi absently combed through her long hair and suddenly asked.

"Probably. They belong to the same tier of major figures." The giant Andula glanced at her, not understanding what she meant.

"Do you think the Secret Keepers can truly withstand the alliance of the three Instant Tower factions?" Gongsun Yi continued.

"...One Ming King killed Horudila of the First Secret Lock. There are still two Evil Kings behind him, and an even stronger Long. The Secret Keepers have very low odds of victory," Ou Nan answered gravely. "They are only buying time now."

In truth, from the contrast in Sol's attitude before and after, they had already roughly guessed some of the truth.

When Sol had first spoken to them, he had been full of praise for Lord Horudila. He had believed that
