Perhaps because Soren agreed to their demands, the goddesses all seemed to be in a good mood. Soren was a guest from afar after all, and after giving it some thought, the Goddess of Agriculture decided to host a banquet to entertain him.
Hosting a banquet was a very easy feat for deities, requiring no trouble from mere mortals whatsoever. With a gentle clap of her hands, a group of lovely pixies flew out from the lush woods before them. They were each only about the size of a palm, resembling miniature fairies as they brought in honey and fruit.
Meanwhile, the River Goddess picked up a conch and blew toward the riverbank, causing more than a dozen beautiful and moving water sprites to emerge. They carried trays made of exquisite shells, filled with all sorts of aquatic produce.
The Spring Goddess tapped her snow-white toes lightly against the ground, and instantly a clear, sweet spring gushed forth, automatically transforming into a small fountain that shimmered with colorful radiance under the sunlight.
The Goddess of Sprouts summoned a large flock of brightly colored birds, and they used all kinds of chirping sounds to play a melody.
Soren watched, somewhat dumbfounded.
In fact, although he was the esteemed master of Port Nyanzaru and a deity of medium divinity, he had rarely experienced banquets on a divine scale.
Many princes and nobles lived much more extravagantly than he did, but as for using divine power to host a banquet, he had never researched a single spell of the sort. Yet looking at the goddesses' exceptionally practiced movements, it seemed as though everything was completely natural, clearly showing that this was not the first time they had cast similar spells.
It seemed the rumors were true; the deities of this world were truly
