Soren's visit was also a major event for the City of Wealth, except that he did not alert anyone and instead quietly entered the deepest part of the Temple of Wealth.
Two Holy Spirit Clerics were responsible for guarding this place.
To describe the Temple of Wealth in a single sentence, it was undoubtedly resplendent and magnificent; the entire temple looked as though it were glowing with gold, and the walls were even inlaid with gemstones as decorations. However, there should not be any blind thieves coming here, because that was simply courting death.
Inside the grand temple, Soren met the true body of the Goddess of Wealth.
It was not surprising; the Goddess of Wealth had indeed hidden herself within this city, as this was her base camp after all.
The appearance of the Goddess of Wealth was that of an elegant and graceful noble female, with a head of beautiful long golden hair, wearing a light golden lace dress, and resting a beautiful, huge emerald necklace upon her full chest. Her hairband also featured a pebble-sized gemstone, various precious jewelry rings adorned her fingers, many patterns were painted on her golden shawl, and her boots woven from gold thread were inlaid with numerous pearls. Her entire person looked so jeweled and glittering that she resembled a walking golden beauty.
This deity adored the color gold.
Almost everything she loved bore the brilliance of gold and jewels, and the goddess appeared friendly toward Soren's arrival—at least on the surface it seemed that way.
